Last week, Biden's DOJ reached another grim milestone with more tyrannical gun control measures and Second Amendment violations via the ERPO. Collaborating with the Bloomberg School of Public Health at Johns Hopkins University, they launched the National Extreme Risk Protection Order (ERPO) Resource Center, funded by $750 million from the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act (BSCA) of 2022. This program promotes state "red flag" firearm seizure laws using taxpayer dollars. These laws enable various individuals to petition courts to suspend Second Amendment rights and seize firearms without due process, under the guise of safety. This misuse of funds and erosion of constitutional rights must be challenged. Congressman Jim Jordan's call for an investigation into the ERPO Resource Center is a step in the right direction. It's time for Congress to repeal the BSCA, terminate ERPO activities, and safeguard Second Amendment rights.
