Rapprochement to Shias

Is it possible to reconcile between Sunnis and Shias?

It is absolutely impossible to reconcile between the doctrine of Ahl al-Sunnah wa’l-Jamāʿah and the doctrines of the Shia. This is because the Shia religion is founded upon principles that oppose Islam and all of its rites. Any attempt to reconcile between the two is futile—it would be like attempting to reconcile Christianity and Islam.

Among the ways the Rāfiḍah (Shia) share core beliefs with the Christians is in their belief in multiple deities. The Rāfiḍah believe in the divinity of Ahl al-Bayt such as ʿAlī and Fāṭimah al-Zahrāʾ, just as the Christians believe in three gods. The Shia openly express this, without even employing taqiyyah, and this has already been documented here on Bayān Network (click here).

The Rāfiḍah, in both belief and practice, are closer to the Christian religion than to Islam—and this is very evident to anyone who reflects on it. Both Shiism and Christianity assert a belief in multiple gods.

We have no need to be reconciled with anyone. We are upon the truth, following the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah ṣallallāhu ʿalayhi wa sallam. Whoever desires reconciliation must first follow Islam and listen to the words of the Messenger of Allah ṣallallāhu ʿalayhi wa sallam, and not insult his honor, then attempt to approach the Sunnis in the name of “reconciliation.” Strange indeed—how blatant is their hypocrisy!

These calls for reconciliation are nothing but calls toward Shiism. Unfortunately, some among the Sunnis in Egypt and other Muslim lands fall for it. And Allah is the One whose help is sought.

This is a specific message to Haqiqatjou.
