If you are one of my former Twitter followers, you know the story about how I worked for a Wall Street investment bank, Lehman Brothers, for a while in my late teens, early 20’s, it was headquartered in New York City. That was when I met a good friend, John Farrell, who stood out to me as a regular guy amongst a bunch of fake people. John and I learned a lot about business back then, he became very successful but always drove the same pickup truck and never changed who he was, regardless of his paycheck. On Sept. 11th, 2001, my friend John was working on the 104th floor of Two World Trade Center, at the Investment Bank of Sandler O’Neill. He never went home to his family that day.
