What were some of your favorite song lyrics from when we were growing up, frens?

I thought these were appropriate for what weโ€™re seeing play out recently:

โ€œIt's too late to change events
It's time to face the consequence
For delivering the proof
In the policy of truthโ€

Depeche Mode, Policy of Truth (1990)

PRAYER

Heavenly Father, we pray that you guide us to be more like Jesus. Shape our hearts to have His compassion, His wisdom, His servant's spirit. Forgive us when we fall short, cleanse us from sin, revive our worn souls. Quiet our anxieties with Your peace, light our paths with Your joy. Help us express Your love in our lives, as channels of Your grace. Teach us to help others as You helped us. Shoulder our weariness, hold our wavering faith. Guide us home to You.

Lord, let justice flow through us to a world in need. Where there is corruption, give us voice to speak out. Where there is conflict, give us courage to seek and bring true peace.

By Christ's sacrifice we pray. Amen.

Ubuntu uses GNOME as its default graphical user interface(GUI)... Linux Mint uses Cinammon, which is based on an older version of GNOME, but it has been extensively modified, but it pretty much works like the Windows interface to make users experience moving to Linux Mint very easy... There are differences, but the basics are the same, except for updating... You also have to put a password to do updates most of the time... This makes the Linux experience much safer because there are layers in security that cannot be circumvented... Move to Linux, and you will be glad and happy... I know I am... ๐Ÿค ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ท๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ฒ

On Friday my Telegram desktop app failed an update and reinstalling it failed to bring it back. I decided instead to retire Fedora 37 and switch to cnix for my daily driver machine. The Fedora drive is available as an external device and I just found the hidden files for my music player. With a single drag-n-drop operation, my entire library is read from a thumb drive just as it was in fedora.
Linux is awesome!

"Can't imagine why most of those here on TG would even still be around on Reddit given it's hostility to free speech. Still it seems they indeed plan to continue selling out it's users for profit."

Some time around the year 2015, a free-speech video alternative to YouTube emerged in a meaningful way. It was called Rumble.

Rumble was started by Canadian entrepreneur Chris Pavlovski in the downtown Toronto business district, a few blocks from the Jeff.pro office. It is all part of a story that still has not been told publicly, but someday it will be.

Rumble received investment from Don Bongino and other notable conservatives. Rumbleโ€™s technical team started handling the maintenance requirements of Truth Social.

A few years ago, (as could have been predicted), Rumble was attacked by the weaponized U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, led by Biden puppet Gary Gensler.

Yesterday, the SEC concluded its so-called โ€œinvestigationโ€ (harassment) of Rumble. The path has been cleared from here forward for Rumble to continue growing. YouTube and โ€œbig tech,โ€ watch out!

Googleโ€™s new โ€œwokeโ€ AI, called Google Gemini, was recently released and itโ€™s ridiculous.

It's embarrassingly difficult to get Google Gemini to acknowledge that white people exist.

Anti-Whiteness is regime ideology.

The merger of โ€œbig techโ€ and the most bizarre political regime in U.S. history continues.

Solarham.net is a great website for real-time Sun and Earth field tracking

Lots of data on it, but you get the hang of what you're looking at once you familiarize yourself with how the Sun/Earth magnetic dynamic works

Still too early to say if this is real.

Earlier today, many users of Googleโ€™s โ€œgmailโ€ email started receiving a notice saying that Google will โ€œsunsetโ€ (discontinue) gmail as a service on August 1, 2024.

If it is real โ€” we should know soon enough โ€” itโ€™s probably a blessing in disguise for those who see it as a inconvenience.

The last thing Google needs is more of our data.
