For more than two years, the Jeff.pro channel has emphasized distancing yourself from "big tech" by making crucial changes to the most vulnerable point of failure in your entire digital life--your computer's Operating System--the right starting point for awakening much of mainstream America that is still “asleep” about taking meaningful, realistic, actionable steps to take back your Digital Freedom.

The message was, and remains simple: Take away the unfair advantage from “big tech.” Either switch your computer’s Operating System to Free and Open Source, i.e., Linux, BSD, etc., or get a second computer that you can run in a FOSS environment, start moving your most important data, files, emails there if you still “have” to use a Windows computer for school or work.

Some people get annoyed with this truth because opening your eyes to reality, engaging with your technology and making changes requires some time and effort, and frankly they don’t see the reason to make changes “right now” if there is no visible harm occurring to them today they can understand or “feel”, i.e., no proverbial “aching tooth” that requires them to visit the dentist to make it stop hurting. “big tech” loves that. They love it when we don’t ask questions, rely on them, hand our rights over to them without thinking about where they’re taking us, because “it’s all just so complicated” (it’s not). Yet, the reality remains:

If you still rely on computers that run the Bill Gates Operating System, Microsoft Windows, and that’s all you have at the core of your Digital Life, you are quite possibly more vulnerable in more ways than you may have realized. Saying you’re “not tech savvy” or you’re “not interested” while ignoring this messaging puts you roughly in the same place as those who went along with the “big pharma” vax propaganda, in the digital context. Sorry, but it’s true. Just because you haven’t felt the damage yet, in how ever many ways it may eventually take place, doesn’t mean it won’t happen, to those who remain asleep and take no responsibility or actions to advocate for themselves in the Digital realm.

When Jeff.pro first shared this bold technology messaging, no conservative outlets had yet championed such impactful change. It was controversial at first, but our audience quickly realized the importance, and that the effort was made in good faith. The result was opening more than 10,000 eyes and sparking a growing movement with a very high satisfaction rate.

Hundreds of testimonials prove: Although many were not even thinking about it before the Jeff.pro channel opened their eyes, relying solely on Windows leaves you poorly positioned for true Digital independence, safety, and sovereignty for the immediate and long term future of your computing world. Ask yourself: are you still trusting your own digital existence and/or that of your family, to the life project of Bill Gates, Microsoft Windows, at the core of your computing world?

Jeff.pro will continue teaching Linux and open source software, as changing your OS to Linux is absolutely the right starting point for freedom-loving Americans to get their Digital Lives back on track for the future. Even if you must keep a Windows computer for work/school, find a way to start migrating your most important personal computing to Linux. You will breathe a sigh of relief, you will be glad you did.

This week, Jeff.pro opens a new chapter building upon a solid foundation. Having established Linux and Open Source Software as core pillars for restoring Digital constitutional sovereignty, Jeff.pro will now incorporate a new topic to its messaging—equally as bold and unappreciated as was done more than two years ago. This new chapter will reveal little known truths about an area of technology being critically overlooked by many, while exponentially strengthening our mission of guiding mainstream America toward Digital Freedom.

Follow Jeff.pro for an important announcement this evening.

Throughout the past two and a half years, Jeff.pro taught you something you may not have truly appreciated the importance of, until you learned it from this channel. An absolutely critical single point of potential failure in your Digital World.

A single point of failure. Like a universal joint in a helicopter. That entire aircraft, and the passengers inside it, are hanging on one joint, connecting the helicopter’s rotor to the cabin. It if fails, everyone literally falls out of the sky.

Your computer’s Operating System is similar—the most crucial software that sits between you, all your most important files, pictures, records, daily online activity, everything you type and do in your web browsers, and the outside world, the internet. And if your computers use Microsoft Windows, guess who you’re trusting to keep your crucially important digital information and life from “falling out of the sky?”

Well, you get the picture.

Maybe you didn’t think about how important that single piece of software on your computers was, until the Jeff.pro channel posted 543,948,493 messages about it, and woke you up.

It’s a good cause, it’s the right thing to do. And we needed to start there, but there’s more to be done, to get things moving in the right direction. However crazy you thought the messaging of this channel was when it first started, 2+ years later, most who have been watching can see that it’s indeed been important, and has helped many.

Eliminating, or improving that single point of failure in your digital life is a big deal. Important for you. Truly.

Following on the important lessons about the urgency of improving our Operating System situation, there’s something else in the technology world that’s every bit as important and urgent for us to learn about, and start addressing. That journey starts this week, on the Jeff.pro channel.

Technology can be a boring topic, until it affects OUR lives.

What if your personal data was being traded globally with zero regulation?

Companies you've never heard of are profiting from your information.

Even basic info like your email and name are being resold in shady back-alleys all over the world. In ways you may say you “don’t care to know about.” But you would, if you knew more about what was happening, and where it’s taking you. And where it’s taking all of us.

“Giving up” and “turning a blind eye”--what many have done so far—doesn’t solve much..

It's time to shed light on the murky personal data trading industry. We'll uncover who's selling your data, the amazing variety of actors involved, how they do it, many of the reasons why they do it, and most importantly, how to fight back.

You may think there's nothing we can do, but by not fighting, we do ourselves an injustice. There are steps we can, and must take for our own futures, and that of our nation.

Yes, we must lower our profile as to how our data is being collected. Super important. Goes without saying.

And as this unstoppable era of “AI” continues to pick up speed, if we’re doing nothing to advocate for the removal of our data from the countless databases all over the world that are already trading in it—if we’re not fighting back against the data brokers--we’re not doing ourselves justice.

The push back starts now.

This is one of the topics we have consistently received the most inquiries about. It will open your eyes to practices taking place all over the world no one would ever tell you about—because they don’t know. The data industry is so fragmented it confuses even those who participate in it. Hardly anyone understands how it all works. It’s still a completely unregulated industry where the worst of the worst actors are taking complete advantage of those who stand by and allow it to happen.

Join Jeff.pro for a brand new presentation Thursday Feb. 15Th, at 8:00pm Eastern, about how our data is being used, stolen, sold, and resold, and what we can do about it.

What were some of your favorite song lyrics from when we were growing up, frens?

I thought these were appropriate for what we’re seeing play out recently:

“It's too late to change events
It's time to face the consequence
For delivering the proof
In the policy of truth”

PRAYER

Heavenly Father, we pray that you guide us to be more like Jesus. Shape our hearts to have His compassion, His wisdom, His servant's spirit. Forgive us when we fall short, cleanse us from sin, revive our worn souls. Quiet our anxieties with Your peace, light our paths with Your joy. Help us express Your love in our lives, as channels of Your grace. Teach us to help others as You helped us. Shoulder our weariness, hold our wavering faith. Guide us home to You.

Lord, let justice flow through us to a world in need. Where there is corruption, give us voice to speak out. Where there is conflict, give us courage to seek and bring true peace.

By Christ's sacrifice we pray. Amen.

Ubuntu uses GNOME as its default graphical user interface(GUI)... Linux Mint uses Cinammon, which is based on an older version of GNOME, but it has been extensively modified, but it pretty much works like the Windows interface to make users experience moving to Linux Mint very easy... There are differences, but the basics are the same, except for updating... You also have to put a password to do updates most of the time... This makes the Linux experience much safer because there are layers in security that cannot be circumvented... Move to Linux, and you will be glad and happy... I know I am... 🤠🇵🇷🇺🇲

On Friday my Telegram desktop app failed an update and reinstalling it failed to bring it back. I decided instead to retire Fedora 37 and switch to cnix for my daily driver machine. The Fedora drive is available as an external device and I just found the hidden files for my music player. With a single drag-n-drop operation, my entire library is read from a thumb drive just as it was in fedora.
Linux is awesome!
