Heavenly Father,

We praise You for another year of life and for Your abundant blessings. Thank You for Your wisdom and guidance that anchors our faith. Strengthen us to be better servants for you, that we may share Your love and do Your will each day. As we grow in faith, draw us closer to our eternal home with You. Help us walk in Your ways and bring glory to Your name.

We pray that You bring reconciliation within families experiencing tension or misunderstandings due to political differences. Help them see and feel each other's pain, and unite together in love. Further, we pray that if it should be Your will, You open the eyes of those blinded by political corruption, so they may see clearly again and join with Your people to end wars and heal our lands.

We ask these things in the powerful name of our Holy Savior Jesus, Your only begotten Son, who died for our sins and was raised to life again.

Amen.

Hi frens! Well, it’s Monday, January 8. Holiday schedule is complete, we are officially off to a new year.

What’s on your mind as the year starts? Me … very glad we started this FOSS and Linux education two and a a half years ago because it’s really helped a lot of people, and now we have a great channel full of a bunch of frens who understand and appreciate Linux.

That takes time to build, but now we’ve got a great little computer and U.S. constitution friendly family of frens here now 😊 a pretty unique group.

I have switched all of my computers over to Linux and so far 6 friends over to Linux. It seems that a lot of the older generations are so much more receptive of this change than the younger. Even if all they do is basically use the browser and photo editing software, the younger generations, in my experience, seem so much more reluctant to switch. Is it possible to have FOMO of being spied on? At any rate. Thanks for this channel and all y'all do. The information given/contained here is truly invaluable. Not to mention the comradery and sense of closeness. But most of all the prayers.

Some more thoughts as we start out the new year, frens. Wasn’t the “Resident’s” recent scripted speech by his handlers depressing?

Their portrayal of half of the country as “domestic terrorists” is so ridiculous and going beyond the ridiculous nature of it, it’s flat wrong and in a disingenuous way. They know it’s wrong. Trust me. I used to know the exact people behind this administration, not for a short while, but for a long while. In between drunken stupors, they know exactly what they’re doing.

They’re acting to conquer and divide the country on behalf of their foreign state sponsors, for profit. For a little “comfort”. They are complete sellout traitors.

Sad.

I do think it’s slowly becoming apparent to more who are “waking up,” though. Call me naive but I think that’s the way things are moving. Who knows if it will happen fast enough to do anything about it.

Reality is, the truth movement is based in love. Sounds corny maybe, but it’s true. It’s a story about great people with sincere hearts in a country that at one time broke away from tyranny to create the most successful and fair society in history, only to find itself facing tyranny again, 240+ years later.

Sad, true, and moves the heart to think about it. We have a great story friends. Our American story we all share. Makes me all warm and fuzzy inside to think about it, at least the part before “woke” became a thing and it all started falling apart. Sigh.

I agree with everything you said save one piece. I don't believe it's "half the country." I address this only because it's a fallacy that this country is this 50/50 split. A scam put out the IC through mockingbird media. Are we truly to believe that as a nation we went from "clear winners" to "razor thin margins of victory" in EVERY political arena? I know there remain people completely brainwashed by media that still support the nonsense we see around us daily, but I refuse to believe it's "half the country." I know people on "both sides" and even they are realizing that "both sides" are the "same side" and it's us vs them. The uniparty has exposed itself or has been exposed and, in my opinion, there's no putting that genie back in the bottle. Even the fraudulent polls are showing separation from the "razor thin margins." If they claim "half" it's probably less than a quarter... and that's dwindling.

A noteworthy date, even if we’re not big fans of this product. On this day in 2007, Apple unveiled the original iPhone.

Who knows what the true intent was with these devices. Some Apple devices, such as the ipod, seem relativley benign in nature.

Was it planned as an Orwellian tracking device from day one, or did it somehow end up becoming that, over time? 🤷‍♂️

I love Linux... I am using Linux Mint 21.2 at the moment, but I am considering Kubuntu 22.04 LTS just because I've used it a while back ago, but then Pulse audio stopped working on my pc, so I moved to Linux Mint... I am thinking about building a whole new pc just to install Kubuntu... The KDE GUI is a little more involved, but I like it... Love to learn new things... I'm also using the Steam engine to play games, and even use Proton to play some Windows games on my Linux pc under Steam.... 😁

Hi frens, looks like the holiday season is finally winding down. Took a much-needed week off there towards the end to visit with family. Hope everyone had a chance for some R&R.

Wow! Looks like 2024 will be a year for the history books, for so many reasons. Around here, will be getting to work on a whole new phase, starting now!
