Love Zorin! Has anybody tried the new version yet?
I will definitely also try the new linux of our wonderful Jeff group. Sounds super promising. You should be so proud of yourselves.
I am so happy that I stumbled via Code Monkey Z across this channel!
Since then I have got myself a raspberry Pi, changed two laptops to linux and degoogled two pixels.
I'm VERY happy!
Thank you, thank you, thank you!!
I wish all patriots worldwide a very merry Christmas 🌟

Liberals might be required to re-think that decision to upgrade to a EV vehicle on their first unsucessful software update.
Let’s face it, a lot of these new “high-tech” vehicles are not ready for prime time.
One of the areas we can do well by staying lower-tech is in the area of vehicles. Low-tech wins by a lot, still in 2023-2024.

People say that the last few years were an “intelligence test”. But the people fooled the most had intelligence. IMO, it was a test of:
- How trusting you are (naivety)
- Worldly knowledge
- Ability to assess motive
- Intuition
- Bravery (to not be controlled by fear)

Congrats! If your computer uses the Bill Gates Operating System, Microsoft Windows, you now have mandatory built-in Artificial Intelligence watching everything you do.

“Microsoft’s Satya Nadella is CNN Business’ CEO of the Year”.
The Swamp really likes Microsoft.
That should tell you a lot.
Why are we trusting the privacy of our personal information, all our personal files and data, our entire digital lives, to these people, by continuing to use computers that depend on Microsoft Windows, which can see everything on our computers?

It was the year of artificial intelligence, and no Big Tech company leaned into the trend like Microsoft.

I haven't used Windows since 2017, and I think I won't use it again, specially with all of the stuff that is coming out about Billy... I use Linux Mint at the moment on a pc I built, and I am planning to buy a laptop, which I will either buy with Linux or install Kubuntu LTS on it depending on the hardware... I don't want to deal with Microsoft anymore, specially with the latest news about Windows using AI whether you like it or not...

Intelligence officials have revealed a Chinese spy balloon that flew across the US for a week in February used an American internet service provider to communicate.
The balloon had drifted east and entered US airspace over Alaska on 28 January and was tracked as it flew over Malmstrom Air Force base in Montana, where nuclear assets are stored.
It was noted in a new report that the balloon was connected to a US-based company and communicating with China about its navigation.
It further stated that the connection 'allowed the balloon to send burst transmissions or high-bandwidth collections of data over short periods of time' to its home base in China.

Yes, T-Mobile, and the other major Carriers, can and do read and store your text messages and phone calls. The new Terms of Service T-Mobile is rolling out is only them giving the public a heads up to what they are already doing and have been doing for some time.
This is precisely why using secure communications are so important. This is why we need to be educated on how these things work and stop living in a bubble of "TeCh iS jUsT tOo CoMpLiCaTed" ignorance. If it's honestly too complicated for you to learn and understand the basics... YOU SHOULDN'T USE IT. Same logic applies to using a firearm! Stop blowing your digital heads off, along with those around you!
Having an "encrypted" conversation with someone who's phone/laptop is running a compromised operating system (Google Android / iOS / MacOS / Windows) is useless.
I explain this, and much more in a recent post on just how "Ghost" we can go with our devices.
