With all due respect, I think "aligned AI" will prove to be an important concept for the future with some degree of priority. No disagreement there. We will have plenty of time to build and tune those, and learn more about it in the future.
You know what's even more important, arguably, for our technology, today, right now?
Taking back control over our systems, software and personal information, unplugging from the big-tech "cloud", freezing our own technology at a point in time where we control it, not the machines, and definitely not some remote "overlord" in Davos or D.C. ...
That affects us right now, every hour of every day. Super urgent.

The best thing about the great awakening is watching the turd whittlers point the finger at themselves.
We just poke them a little and their clock spring starts unwinding. We turn them into red pill factories and watch them pump out the goods.
They are like children forced to defend themselves by talking about uncomfortable things in language that clearly exposes them as liars.
The machine has never had to answer for their lies. Nobody had the guts or the inside knowledge to challenge the narratives. Nobody of consequence was looking all that hard.
Now the statist media has lost much of its audience and those that remain have lost much of their trust. They turn to us, and independent journalists for the truth. As Tucker says, "the corporate media is dead." He stops short of pointing out that we have killed it, but we have.
I watch daily as the wheels come off so many narratives, people jump willlingly and publicly into their own self-created cesspools and boomerangs fly back to bash the creeps in their petulant, dishonest melons.
The machine is set on self-destruct mode and there is no cancel button.
In case you weren't paying attention, this is what winning looks like in an information war. It is a beautiful thing to watch.
Stay comfy.

Was remembering the stuff we used to watch on weekend mornings when I was a kid, then remembered this show ... maybe if they were still around we'd have more luck with our corrupt gov't ...?
Remember how the super friends headquarters was the "hall of justice"? Maybe we could move congress there π€£

PRAYER
Heavenly Father, as we gather to celebrate your Son's nativity during this holiday season, still our hearts to receive the blessing of Your presence.
On that sacred night so long ago, You sent Your only begotten Son Jesus Christ, born a tiny babe, to dwell among us full of grace and Truth. Though the precise date of His birth may remain uncertain to some while recognized by others, we join wholeheartedly with fellow believers in joy that the world pauses to honor the Good News of His Holy Nativity. Fill us now with hope and awe at Your glorious love revealed in the Savior's humble arrival:
βWhile they were there, the time came for the baby to be born, and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no guest room available for them.β (Luke 2:6-7)
In adoration we kneel before You who took on human flesh. Attune our ears to hear again the angelic chorus resounding through the ages: "Glory to God in the highest!" May this song of praise become our anthem in the new year. May Your gospel of peace echo through our lives to overcome hatred and fear in our broken world.
Lord Jesus, God with us, now and always, we offer our lives to You again. Shape us into joyful ambassadors of Your love and grace. Amen.
βTherefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.β (Philippians 2:9-11)

Merry Christmas to all in the group today. First I want to thank Jeff and the team who put CNIX together and released it as an early Christmas present for all of us. Jeff and some of the admins here have made it fun again to be on a computer and cutting the strings of big tech. For some background on me I scored 23-24 only missing the AOL I knew already how to check my own email and didn't need the reminder... CNIX is very well done and I'm completely blown away with how many updates already and how it is evolving in its first weeks. I now have a degoogled Pixel and have Mint, Ubuntu and even Android running on different devices from a new mini PC to my just arrived Raspberry Pi5 and desktops and laptops along the way. This last 2 years and everyone here has inspired me to accomplish and learn all those different things but the real gift is CNIX. Thank you to everyone involved you did a great job. I have been running it since the night it was released and I can't break it or find anything it can't do that I want.
