👆If you've followed the Jeff.pro channel for some time, you know that in my history, a long time ago, I sold my technology business (was trading on the Nasdaq Stock Market at the time) to Rick Scott, shortly before he got in to politics, when he was working as a Venture Capitalist with his own resources.
Although it was a long time ago--shortly before Rick's first campaign for Governor of Florida--remember it well. Spent about a year flying back and forth from Naples, Forida back then, visiting Rick and his people at his offices, a few times at his house.
Politically, I was supporting Democrats back then. As were some of the people involved in the business transaction (New Yorkers--blue state business brokers).
Rick was a true gentleman, a humble business operator of substantial means despite being the most influential owner and operator of hospitals in the U.S. (Through his company, Columbia/HCA). Really enjoyed getting to know him.
I clearly remember him telling me back then, "Jeff, I think you're a conservative, you just don't know it yet." 🤣

- They don't think its weird that the Las Vegas shooting police lead somehow was the same guy from the Maui fires
- They watch mainstream media/news
- They have TDS
- They kneel for the national anthem
- They are a feminist (female)
- They eat soy (male)

- They don't want to audit the fed
- They have pronouns in their bio

A list of basic commands for the Linux command line.
Newer Linux users will be happy to know that they still don't need to know these, virtually everything can be done in a "point-and-click" way with folders and menus on the desktop, just like you did in your "big-tech" Operating System.
However when the time is right, learning the Linux command line will give you more control over your computer than you ever had when you were still using "big tech."

Wow …… I just got off the phone …. A nice Lady on the east coast just let me know that she received my copy of a “signed book” …… Her and her Husband took it upon themselves to ship it on to me at their expense and report the mishap back to the originating shipper….. after talking a little about all that has happened lately I pointed her down the Linux path …. and she said that she had been hearing about this channel from other sources ….. she refused my offer of covering their shipping cost and said “pass it on” ….. so I told her to look up this post when they get to this channel ….. my way of sending it back around ….❤️

“My colleagues, every statement I make today is backed up by sources, solid sources,’’ Powell told the Security Council. “What we are giving you are facts and conclusions based on solid intelligence.”
Of course, as the country discovered painfully over the next several months, the super weapons allegedly possessed by Saddam were no more real than a desert mirage, and the “solid intelligence” put forward by Powell that day turned out to be mostly conjecture and supposition. The "weapons of mass destruction" turned out not to be there, but a hundred and sixty-five thousand American troops already were, and the catastrophic occupation of Iraq that followed brought to an ignominious end a singular moment of American global dominance and prestige.
We know, in fact, that [they were] under enormous pressure from the White House, where President Bush and Vice-President Dick Cheney had seemingly already made up their minds about invading Iraq, to come up with a solid case to publicly justify the decision.
In other words, Powell was used. Bush, Cheney, and Donald Rumsfeld, who was then the Secretary of Defense, cynically enlisted him and his enormous credibility to make the flimsy, and ultimately faulty, case for war.
