After the events of the last few years I realized dropping Windows was necessary. I set up dual boot with Linux Mint Cinnamon/Windows 10 on our family desktop. Then, my kids asked for Mint on their Windows computer. Much to my surprise, my kids LOVE ❤ it! They set up every single game and software they had on Windows. The difference in CPU, memory use, and speed is like night and day! My 13 year old had built a gaming computer that was running Windows 10. Once he saw how fast that exact same computer runs with Linux Mint, he never uses anything else now. Funny how kids will jump right in once they see how much better it is.

I saw an earlier post about an old scanner running on Linux. Have an old Canon which Windows stopped supporting when I upgraded to 7. Plugged it into an old computer on which I installed Debian and it works!

Friends, hope you are having a nice end of the week, where ever you are. Here are a few thoughts for you on this Friday afternoon.
We can be sure that as the world undergoes major changes, our faith will be tested and God’s Word will be proven to be the truth.
None of us can predict the future with precision accuracy. However, a few things we do know: Taking self-responsibility for ourselves and our families is the way to go.
What does this mean? Well, in many ways, our “prepper” friends have been right for a long time. Secure our own food supplies, shore up our surroundings and belongings, do as much as we can to act in our own best interests. No one here on Earth is coming to save us, especially not this “government.” That’s for darn sure.
What this channel teaches, the world of Free and Open Source Software and Linux, will get you moving in the right direction for your digital sovereignty. That means, staying connected to the online world while advocating for your own rights, the security of your personal information and your own files and records, in the ways that matter most.
If you are learning about Linux, keep learning. There is little doubt that what ever new world emerges in the future, people are going to be less willing to tolerate “big tech” abuses like intrusion, surveillance and spying. This is our way forward. People-driven technology, not “big tech.”
For online business and commerce, consider learning technical skills. Instead of waiting for economic opportunities to come physicially to us where we are, we can find ways to interact, whether they be with individuals or businesses, from many more places, faster, when we stay connected—in ways that work for us, not “them”—while always protecting our own interests.
As for the Jeff.pro channel, God is on the move making incredible things happen for our organization. We appreciate everyone who has been with us through the journey of the past few years very much. You are a bunch of incredible, authentically Patriotic, great people to be connected with!

Heavenly Father, we are living in a time with overwhelming conflict and change. When we see injustice and corruption, it can stir up feelings within us. Remind us in those moments that Your ways are higher than our ways. You alone see the full picture.
Help us surrender our need to understand everything. Grant us the faith to trust Your infinite wisdom. Grant us hope that even in the darkest times, Your light and purpose will prevail.
Your thoughts are higher than our thoughts. Your ways exceed our ways. Renew our spirits so that no matter what storms we face, our hope and anchor is in You alone.
