PRAYER

Loving Father, our hearts overflow with gratitude for Your faithfulness. As we look back in our lives, we see how You carried, protected and sustained us each step of the way.

We pray as this new week dawns, lift our weary souls from cares that weigh heavy. Fill our hearts instead with Your comfort. Guide our eyes up to Your face of hope eternal, away from crowds and troubles around us. Breathe courage within us fresh to walk on unwavering, seeing with Your sight and serving as You call us to serve. Awaken in us again the trust that you'll lead us through, as each day and each step of our lives brings us nearer to Your kingdom.

Forgive us our sins, O Lord, when we have strayed from Your perfect will. Wash us clean in the redeeming blood of Christ, and make us whole.

As Your children made new in Christ, who by grace has made a way for us, we lift our prayer to You in the power and assurance of His name. In Him alone is our hope; by Him alone we are saved. Hear us now as we rejoice in our Savior, praying confidently in the precious name of Jesus.

Heavenly Father, we seek Your wisdom, the kind that we truly need, the path that guides us with the steadfastness of a star on the darkest night.

We lift up our true leaders to You, not those false actors who promote evil, but those given the responsibility to guide and protect Your children. Send Your divine helpers, Your angels, to stand with them, to lift them high above the evil that seeks to hinder their righteous journey.

May they be bastions of Your truth and justice, leading with diligent resolve and a sovereign guardian so faithful to his people, he would build a wall to unite a nation rather than take one down to divide it.

With Your wisdom as a compass and Your strength as a shield, may we be guided to a place once again united in the pursuit of real truth, and the consequential justice it demands.
