The Texas Instruments TI-99 was a great home computer. Under rated. It used the TMS9900 processor which they designed themselves, making it the first 16-bit home computer, unheard of back then.

The entire company of Texas Instruments was under rated, really. Their products were amazing engineering for their time.

TI was a great example of American innovation. How do we get that kind of spirit back in to the current generation?

Dear Lord, we lift up those who serve behind the scenes to make our lives more comfortable and our communities function. The delivery drivers, mail clerks, maintenance crews, and others who often go unnoticed, yet their work allows us and our families to live and thrive.

Lord, You tell us "there are different kinds of service, but the same Lord" (1 Corinthians 12:5). Though their labor is sometimes hidden, we know You see each person and the role they play in Your greater purpose. We pray that You give them strength, fill their hearts with Your joy, and let them see that their work matters. Remind us to honor and thank those who serve, for by serving one another we all serve You.
