In many, or most cases, when it comes to technology, convenience is the enemy of individual sovereignty.

'big tech' software like Microsoft Windows is likely tracking, capturing and monitoring every single thing you do on or near your computers.

It doesn’t have to be this way. But as of this moment in history, that is the world Silicon Valley ‘big tech’ companies and Microsoft built. And that is the direction they would like to keep taking you in.

Stand up for your Digital Rights. FOSS (Free and Open Source Software) and Unix-like Operating Systems such as Linux will get you back on the right track for your Digital future — they are are the technology equivalents to growing your own food.

AI is a tool. It can be used for good or for bad. Build good AI tech and it will serve us well. Build it to serve nefarious purposes, and it will do that too. It's a tool that is fashioned by it's creator. I can make a pipe wrench, and other may make a gun. They are tools made for a purpose.
That is what AI is. It's a tool that works according to how it's maker designs it to work.

A lot of people have a misconception about AI. It is not a mysterious new life form. It's not actually sentient. It's actually not even "intelligent". It's sophisticated instructions programmed in by people, made into a tool of their choosing. The programming is certainly complex. But it is just programming. Instructions. Written by someone, and followed by the machine.

Google, Microsoft, Apple, and many many others are working on their uses of AI.
Microsoft intends to embed it in Windows. The AI is a tool they built to look at all of the data on your computer. What are they doing with that data?
What did they program their AI tool to do with your data?
We just don't know. Windows software is closed source... meaning we cannot look at the program to see what it does on the inside.
Same for Google
Same for Apple

This is YOUR freedom at stake.

Learn something about how web addresses work: What is a URL?

A URL is like a map on the internet. It tells your browser where to find stuff like webpages or images.

Here's what each part means: the protocol is how your browser gets the stuff (like HTTP or HTTPS); the subdomain helps sort parts of a website (but it's not always there); the domain name is the website's address; the path is the exact spot of what you're looking for; the query string (starting with a "?") gives extra info to the website; and the fragment (starting with a "#") tells your browser where to go on the page.

The TRS-80 model 1, one of the first “home computers”, was launched by Radio Shack in 1977.

It was a great design at the time, higher performance than the competition.

Introduced by Sony in 1992, the Digital Audio Tape, or DAT, was an interesting invention that didn’t last too long in the commercial markets.

It did have a great recording quality but never caught on with the masses. Was popular with audiophiles and musicians.

For everyone in the Linux for Beginners class, our 5:00pm livestream on Rumble did not begin as scheduled this week, apparently due to Rumble’s servers being over capacity.

Today’s scheduled class will be on the LMS (Learning Management System) as of tomorrow for all subscribers to watch.

Thanks for your patience frens. First time in 23 months one of our lives didn’t start on time, we almost made it 2 years without a glitch! 🤣

Today’s lesson: The Boss, on the days he does rallies, is popular enough to draw most of the resources at Rumble! 🤣🤣

That will probably change in the future as Rumble continues to build up its infrastructure.

PRAYER

Gracious Father, in the radiant glow of Your limitless love, we humbly recognize where we have fallen short, seeking the redemption and forgiveness that Colossians 1:14 illuminates, "In Him, we have the redemption, the forgiveness of sins."

Thank You for understanding us, Your children. We surrender our battles to You, unwavering in our trust in Your divine justice. O God, lead us along the righteous path and bestow upon us the strength to face our corrupt, evil adversaries.

We pray to You for wisdom, that our hearts may overflow with Your divine understanding, guiding us in every decision we make to glorify You.

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we offer this prayer today. Amen.

A TRUE STORY

As a overconfident yet fairly successful young Californian trying to fit in on the East Coast, it had been another stress-packed day. Rushing from the office, I was headed to Madrid, Spain, a first-time destination.

My assistant had booked my travel, and I left with what should have been time enough to get to JFK airport to catch the flight for the first leg of my trip. Yet this time, the usual freeway route was absolutely choked with traffic, more than I’d ever seen before. Time was slipping away, and in my youthful anxiety, I was curt with the driver, urging a faster pace. My on-time arrival seemed increasingly unlikely but I was pushing the driver to find some faster way. We were weaving in and out of backed up traffic that wouldn’t let up.

I made it to the terminal with just enough time to still catch the flight. Yet then a reservation error surfaced. My office had booked the ticket but for some reason it was not, and could not be charged, and they would not allow a different card to pay for it. I did not have the card my office used on the reservation with me, only different cards. I suggested the reservation card be changed, but the gate agent declined without the original card physically present.

Frustrated, I argued with the desk worker, but policy stood firm. I insisted on talking to the manager, who came out and told me they could not make any exceptions to policy. During our lengthy, heated exchange, boarding time passed, and I made a big scene, yelling at everyone like the arrogant hothead I was at that age. I was a jerk.

I left in retreat to a nearby airport hotel, seething at what I was sure was incompetent airline staff, feeling like a big man for having given everyone there a piece of my mind. It was July 17, 1996, and I was 24 years old.

Arriving at the hotel, the shocking news hit me: TWA Flight #800, my missed flight, had exploded 12 minutes post-takeoff.

In the news that followed, there were no survivors.

My name is Jeffrey Peterson, and this is my true story about one of the first times I was saved, and some of the lessons I learned.

Have a great week ahead, friends. 🙏

Facebook’s parent company, Meta, seems to have a revolving door with US governmental agencies. Where Facebook begins and the government ends is difficult to discern.

Amarpreet Ghuman is in charge of Product Integrity for Meta, but he was an FBI analyst
for over 5 years. Aaron Berman is currently the “Lead for Elections Policies” for Meta, and
he held various positions at the CIA over 17 years prior.

His LinkedIn profile boasts “Online Trust and Safety | National Security.” Am I the only
person who does not want US corporations intertwined with national security?
Scott Stern was a CIA Unit Chief of Targeting before becoming Meta’s Senior Manager for
Trust and Safety Risk Intelligence. Corey Ponder is the Equity and Well-Being Lead at
Meta, and while his personal website does mention upfront that he was a Senior Targeting
Analyst for the CIA, this fact is relegated to the second page of the “Experience” section
of his LinkedIn profile.”

Someone with a substantial conservative following asked me what should happen to “big tech” companies like Facebook, Google, Linkedin and others, re freedom of speech violations, and outright lies during the “covid” plandemic.

Was never a fan of the FTC’s “monopoly-break-up” actions for technology companies. It’s one thing to conceptualize and say it, something completely different to even try to implement it. Tech companies move fast, gov’t moves slow. That’s not the solution. Too easy for them to dodge meaningful outcomes.

In case anyone cares what I think about this…maybe you don’t, but if you do, having run one of those companies myself years ago, I can tell you there’s few things they fear more than losing their Section 230 and other immunity protections from liability, and ultimately, class action litigation about material issues.

Due to the willingness of big tech’s participation in the lies, Congress should pass legislation holding those companies that wilfully participated in the plandemic should lose all immunity for the time periods in question, opening the floodgates for massive class action litigation against them that would likley put them out of business.

The way I see it, that would still not be enough—it never could be—but at least it’d be something.
