This pales in comparison to our hunter gatherer ancestors who got 16,000 to 17,000 steps.

Learn some acronyms

SSD = solid state drive. no moving parts. storage is more expensive, therefore usually less storage, but much faster

HDD = Hard Disk Drive, moving parts. more storage, slower.

Head and tail are used to view the beginning or end of a file in Linux.

I dreamt once that, in my last high school game, I forgot my shoulder pads and helmet and couldn’t play, until someone brought me spares on loan.

This meaning was hidden to me for many years until I asked someone to try and explain. This person believed the shoulder pads represented the breastplate of righteousness, the helmet the assurance of salvation.

Without the football gear I couldn’t play in that last game. Without the armor of God, we can’t play in the game of life.

SOME THOUGHTS - Thursday August 3rd, 2023

Seeing the 45th President of the United States arrested for the third time today is one of the strangest things I’ve seen in my fifty years on this planet.

I don’t claim to know everything but I’ve seen a good amount in my time. As many of you know I used to be involved with the Democrats, years ago as a donor, for years. Back when as a native Californian I foolishly believed "Democrats were nicer." 🤪 My awakening was sometime around late 2016. I knew a lot of the same people back then who are pulling the strings behind the scenes currently.

Was around to see enough of their descent in to corruption to see where they were going with it back then. Yes, you can say they’ve always been corrupt and that's probably true, but it's also true they took a serious nosedive for the worse in the Obama years.

To see it playing out in the form it is today is surreal. Things have gotten so out of hand it’s ridiculous. They have transformed our country in to what I believe to be one of the worst moments in its history, all for a little bit of their own “comfort” in the form of what feels to them like “easy money” they get by peddling influence from their offices. Believe me, sleepy Joe is not the only one doing that. By the time I was breaking up with them, it seemed like pretty much any and all of them who had the ability to peddle influence were doing it. I had a chat with my former friend Kyrsten Sinema, whose career I helped start, about this in 2017 and she more or less agreed it was out of control. I am sure she will deny it but it's true.

I can also tell you most of those doing the corrupting and influencing don’t have much of a plan. They are useful idiots to their foreign handlers. The DNC is run by a few hundred "Hunter-like" drunks who are addicted to vices and drugs, not able to think much past their next brute force attack in the form of another “law enforcement action” or attack orchestrated through some branch of government. It’s all they do. They are allowing foreign governments to rob the United States Treasury blind in exchange for what amount to meager bribery payments.

They all have ways they rationalize what they are doing, to themselves but in reality they have very little if any plan beyond dealing for themselves in the moment. Their foreign partners who are buying the influence are the ones doing the planning. This is not my “best guess,” this is what I saw happening with my own eyes.

Where do we go from here? As much as I understand everyone who says “go Amish” and move to the hills, that probably won’t fix our country. I’m all for “going Amish” when it comes to our diet and family values, and so forth, that’s great yet the reality remains we are in a fast moving society and technology will play a big role in everything that happens to our country going forward.

I say we shouldn’t let them get away with it. A lot of what they are able to do is simply due to lack of pushback on them. We the People are capable of doing a lot more. Does anyone feel riled up? I do. I don’t know about you but I don’t want to see my kids growing up eating bugs and being threatened with lawfare by empty suits working indirectly or directly for CCP handlers. It HAS to stop. It’s beyond ridiculous, all of it.

There is is no “Conspiracy theory movement.”

There is only the truth and the labels you slap on things you don’t like won’t change what is true.

Like, for example, that your reporting has been consistently wrong, and people can see that.

Like, for example, that you are losing badly in court in your defamation cases.

Like, for example, that more people than ever before are waking up to the fact your newspaper, once respected, has been transformed in to a propaganda rag used to try to spread disinformation.

Your disinfo may be able to delay people from waking up to the truth, but it won’t stop it.

So what is your plan? What do they tell you? Let me guess: That every single American who thinks independently of you, every single American who thinks for themselves—half or more of the country—is going to be imprisoned, “locked up” or otherwise “destroyed”, until all who are left are the sheep who believe your propaganda, and your newspaper will be the sole source of information in the remaining dystopian state? Is that what your goal is, what you’re being promised?

Not realistic. So, what’s your plan to stop the inevitable truth from emerging? Think about it. Your position in the world is weakening, like a melting ice cube. Maybe it’s time to reconsider your current path.

👆👆for those who are interested in Linux, GRUB is a great tool to learn and not that difficult to use once you know it. It is like a swiss army knife for repairing your system if anything ever gets messed up.

People don’t take the time to learn how to use GRUB because they think it will be hard and don’t see the need for it. Linux just works so usually you won’t need it. But if anything ever does go wrong, a hard drive failure for example, you will be glad you know it. Super powerful!
