This is getting ridiculous. Why is anyone still putting up with this? More than 50 “patches” this month. And while Windows continues to be full of vunerabilities and bugs, they’re tracking and monitoring Americans more than ever before. The writing is on the wall: The time is now to GET OUT of Windows!

On Microsoft’s latest “patch Tuesday,” 63 security vulnerabilities were “identified and patched.” “One has been confirmed as already actively exploited by threat actors: CVE-2022-37969.”

If you have already switched your computer to Linux, JITSI is a great Free and Open Source alternative to Zoom you can use.

“The benefit of a Jitsi conference is that all your data only passes through your server and the end-to-end TLS encryption ensures that no one can snoop on the call. With Jitsi you can be sure that your private information stays that way.”

Did you see this today?

House Majority Leader Rep. Steny Hoyer basically said, “the deep state is real, and it’s a good thing!” 🤯

Big pro-Online Free Speech federal court ruling today

In the matter of NetChoice v. Paxton, the federal Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals just said twitter and other social media platforms don’t have an unlimited right to discriminate against speech.

This is a big online Freedom of Speech rights case that a lot of people have been watching for at least a year. It’s not over yet. However today’s ruling seems like a good one.

If you are one of the several hundred learners enrolled in the Linux for Beginners private course run by this Telegram channel, your invitations for tomorrow's Weekend Linux Workshop (to be held Sat. Sept. 17th @ 5:00pm ET) are being sent out to your email right now! (If you can't be there live, the wekeend workshops are always recorded so you can watch them later on the LMS!)

This week, quickly master your understanding of Linux as we explore the main components of Linux that are necessary to run a complete system. Maybe you have heard about Linux, but you don't understand how it all fits and works together. Learn it once, and your computer will be free from 'big tech' at its core software layer, forever!

Then we explore the main differences between Debian and Arch, the two best known 'root distros' in Linux. With this understanding you can make the best decisions for your future based on what exactly you need from your computer, not everyone has the same requirements.

In Unix-like systems, unlike Windows, nothing is hidden. You can know every single thing happening, and take back full control of your computer from 'big tech', once and for all!

If you can't make it to this weekend's live workshop, don't worry, it will be recorded (as always) and posted in our LMS system, for you to view with your login and password, at any time, 24/7.

Compuserve was one of the first commercial computer services available to the public, starting in 1979 (although the company itself existed prior to that). No widespread internet back then..users had to connect with a dial-up modem and wired phone line.

Subscribers could access about ten national newspapers such as the Los Angeles Times. And CompuServe was one of the first mass providers of personal email accounts. They also were one of the first to offer real time chat, with a "CB Simulator service." In 1985 users could make online travel reservations through a CompuServe service called EaasySABRE.

This was the beginning of consumer access to practical online services, before the internet.

Anyone remember the Intellivision? It was a home video gaming console released by Mattel Electronics in 1979. It had 4K of ROM memory and took 4K cartridges. It was a competitor to the Atari 2600 gaming system.

The Intellivision was sold at Gottschalks, JCPenney and Sears stores throughout the country. Wow, haven't heard those store names in a while. 🤣

Thank You, Father, that we are Your children, and thank You for the wonderful gift of Your Holy Spirit, Who is living within us to lead and guide and protect us. Thank You that by faith in Christ, we have overcome the enemies that seek our downfall and the downfall of those we love. Help us withstand all forms of evil and provide guidance in all things. Help us, Father, to listen earnestly to Your voice, and to remember that greater is He than the defeated enemy that is in the world. This we ask in Jesus' name, Amen.

Agustin Carstens, the General Manager of the Bank of International Settlements on programmable CBDCs:

Central banks will have "absolute control" and the "technology to enforce" the "rules and regulations" of how central bank digital currencies can be used.

“Among all the outlandish ideas proposed by the globalists so far, CBDC’s are horrendous way to use technology, a dictator’s dream. Must be avoided.”
