In my personal experience, the only downside to linux is tax software like TurboTax. But you can now access TurboTax online using a web browser on Linux.
I agree with all of this...read and learn, Patriots!

It doesn't. Don't download Linux to your Phone. You will only fill up the Storage and probably crash the Phone.

There are Linux Phones. There are ROMS that can be loaded to Phones that have been Rooted, that are Android, without google. The ROMS are google free.

Some Phones allow an Installation of Linux, side by side, or within the Android Framework and Operating System. Like the Note 10+ with a 256 or 512 GB Built in Storage, and certain Android Tools built in to allow it. Even in those phones though, google will STILL be present in the android OS if it came that way from the Carrier.

Google has to be surgically removed from a given Phone, much like a cancer or a filthy venerial disease. The same applies with microsoft in Computer Hardware. In a PC, Linux is the Treatment for that filthy disease.

In a Phone, highly specialized versions of Android, or Linux are the Treatment, however the US Versions of these Phones, with few exceptions, have Encrypted and Locked Bootloaders. This does NOT allow the changing of the Android Operating System out to an alternate, google free OS. The communist DS and globalists want it that way. They demand it. In a select few Phones, such as the Pixel, the Bootloader is NOT encrypted and Locked. Those, or an older phone, which has been previously "Rooted", which Unlocks and Decrypts the Bootloader, allowing the Installation of an alternate Operating System, are possible to do this with.

There are many who use software only available on Windows. Think of high-end CAD tools like Solidworks, Mentor Graphics and Altium. Maybe use two different computers with a diff OS on each. Seems like a pain.

I really appreciate the info. I'll do that. I noticed Twitter said my account would be terminated after one month of being logged off. FB is a lot more intrusive.
Again, thank you

Been using linux for what? 20 years. Never had a downside. Even back in the day when installs where iffy. Was worth the work. Today it's a piece of cake.

Some of you have been asking how to access our technology chat room on Telegram, where you can join other Patriots who are learning how to take back their Digital Freedom by teaching themselves how to use the Linux Operating System and free/opensource software. If you're not there yet, you can get in the chat room by clicking here --> @jptchat

Me too! I have an old Dell desktop sitting around and am going to try it! Would love to get away from Microsoft as much as possible.

Just remember when you get the os loaded you aren't done yet . Google top 10 things to do after loading Linux . Mint is the only version I know of that turns the firewall on right away .

I thought I would share my Linux journey. I was a long time Windows user, with my needs primarily driven by Excel, VBA, SQL Server, OneNote, OneDrive, Visual Studio and Fusion 360 (Autodesk). I had developed many applications in Visual Studio which I used in my daily work. But about a year ago, I became so fed up with Windows updates and I started to look into OS alternatives. I had known about Linux for a long time but had never really tried it. After some research, I decided to give it a try. I was blown away by the speed and stability! As I continued to research Linux, I became much more aware of the spyware built into Windows (and Apple for that matter). The more I looked into the intrusiveness of the Microsfot ecosystem, I decided that I needed to switch over to Linux as my daily driver. I am running a four year old Dell XPS with Ubuntu 20.04 LTS. I have dropped my subscription to Office 365 and am using Libre Office now. I have started using Python again and am rewriting some of my software. I am self-hosting my own Nextcloud (on Linode) and I run virtually all FOSS on my machine now. Unfortunately I donโ€™t have a solution to my Fusion 360 problem, however need for CAD has diminished so this is less of an issue now. In addition, I am now using a de-goggled phone (running Lineage) so no more iPhone! I wonโ€™t lie to anyone, it takes a lot of work to de-MAGAFT (Microsoft, Apple, Google, Amazon, Facebook, and Twitter) your life, but it is well worth it. Congrats Jeffery on such a rapid rate of adding subscribers to your channel.

Oh how that long forgotten promise is like a tease.

At the end of the day, we collectively hold the power. If 40% of people switched to Linux purely, bigtech would soon need to reassess and support it.

By which time we wouldn't want their dirty binaries on our machines. VAULT 7 Leaked material showed Adobe intentionally left holes in their software.

Like @Animus_369 bite the bullet and retool our way to freedom.
