I did not know anything about my computer before I joined. I had no idea where my files were saved or how to backup my computer. Now I can't be trusted to be left alone with anyone's computer, because I might install Linux. Today in the tax accessor's office I had the urge to install Linux while he was in the bathroom. Try it. Went live in church this morning with the laptop upgraded to Linux Manjaro and the new (old) process for screen sharing music videos both on screen and via Zoom for our remote viewers. Except for me forgetting to unfade Celluloid between songs (it's not automatic with Celluloid), it worked GREAT! I am so glad to have been able to get rid of Windoze on all the pcs I work with!

My only problem is I still haven't figured out how to get the time to show Mountain Daylight Time instead of Hawaii time (and how the laptop figured that was the time it was supposed to show when I distinctly TOLD the Manjaro installer what time zone I was in, I have no idea).

Oh well. I'll eventually figure out what Terminal command(s) to use to fix that minor problem.
