PRAYER

Dear Lord, give us we pray, a true and biblical
understanding of how to live Godly in Christ Jesus.

Lord, we know that reverence for You
is the first step to wisdom,
and pray that You would develop in us
a fear and a humble respect
to develop the right perspective
and to live a righteous life.

We ask this in Jesus' name,
Amen.

I took a Linux class on college, this channel gave me the push I needed to convert my gaming PC to POP OS, my laptops to Mint Cinnamon, and a burner computer I had was made into a Ubunto PC for my grandparents today

A small learning curve to overtake the fastest people on the bend of a course....and stay in first place

Thank you

Several news sources are reporting TikTok’s Parent company made fake accounts with content scraped from instagram and snapchat.

We're used to seeing fake stuff from China. But did TikTok generate fake accounts, to create the appearance its service, "Flipagram" was more popular than it was, as part of a marketing strategy? We wouldn't be surprised.

Seems TikTik is a Chinese operation meant to brainwash American youth.

Fact: Jack Dorsey, Twitter's former CEO who censored conservatives and deplatformed the 45th President of the United States, as of today, only owns 2.3% of Twitter.

This week it was reported that Elon Musk accumulated 9.2% of Twitter's stock, with potential plans to buy up to 14%. Today it was reported that Twitter granted Musk a seat on the Board of Directors. Musk said he plans to "make improvements" at Twitter.

Another shady change in Windows 11 - you can no longer copy the KB number from the Windows Update screen to search for what's in the update.

In Windows 10 this works fine. But they changed it in Windows 11. Why is Microsoft trying to block users from knowing what's in Windows updates?

Yeah, I use win10 for the things that I haven't replaced yet. Pop_OS for everything else.

You can, of course, write down the KB number and look it up on the Microsoft Website (probably under support). If they aren't showing the info there, THEN we can be sure MS has very nefarious plans under way.

Still, best reason to get rid of the 'doze and replace it with Linux. Will be doing that to the church laptop on Friday.

Tech in the Legislature there is a bill in Congress, H.R. 3816, The American Innovation and Choice Online Act ("AICOA") that claims to push back on anticompetitive practices by 'big tech'.

"would … [prevent] dominant platforms from abusing their gatekeeper power by favoring their own products or services, disadvantaging rivals, or discriminating among businesses that use their platforms in a manner that would materially harm competition on the platform..."

We are unsure if it's good or not, because we don't trust anything coming out of D.C. this year. Interested to hear your thoughts.
