Yes! Yes! Yes! This is one of the ways we gain back our freedom. We must make changes - and some may sting because we were so use to the mindless convenience. Nice job on helping our country! You are not alone!

Saturday morning rambling:

As Big Tech, Big Corp and financial institutions censor and shut down freedom loving people around the world, it should only strengthen our resolve to make these things in our image and values
May they all be crushed under the weight of our resolve and love of freedom

Thank you Jeff for starting this movement and thank you admins for your patience and help in supporting everyone here

We got this!

The crowdfunding site, givesendgo, doesn't have all the 'bells and whistles' of gofundme, but it works. It performs an important purpose. It gets the job done. That is what matters most.

This is important for anyone who has considered building a web application but feels overwhelmed about the 'polished' nature of web sites and apps run out of Silicon Valley. It's not the polish that matters--it's the ability to get an important job done, to perform some useful function that people need.

The ultimate form of control over people's digital existence is at the level of your computer Operating System (like Microsoft Windows). They haven't shown their hand there yet. 70% of computers in the world run on Microsoft Windows.

As people move to alternate social network platforms, it is inevitable that tyranny will occur at the OS level. That is where they can spy on you, steal your data, and ultimately shut everything down. It is an absolute priority for Patriots to move away from 'big tech' computer Operating Systems. If you still depend on Windows to use your computer, the time is now to GET OUT.

Fortunately there is a viable alternative that was built for us during the past thirty years by tens of thousands of freedom-loving developers. This channel teaches you about Free and Open Source Software and the Linux OS. Linux is Digital Freedom!

Friends, this is what we talk about on the Jeff.pro channel when we say Patriots need to build new tech, and that we have huge opportunities at the moment. It all needs to be rebuilt. The trust is never coming back.

There is a window right now where the narratives are crumbling, the lies are falling apart and we already know what practical tech services are needed. How often do we get a chance in life at a do-over with more or less 20/20 vision. This is a chance to fix it for the good of everyone, and our country. Let's be sure it gets done right.

Learn useful stuff, a little more every week, to protect yourself from big tech tyranny, and take back your Digital Freedom.

On this Telegram channel, we teach you how to eliminate 'big tech' organizations from your life, like Microsoft (Windows), Apple, Google, by learning to use Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) and the Linux Operating System.

We go beyond the concept of 'alternate platforms', to where you can truly take back control -- the operating system level -- and show you how to get complete control over your technology, once and for all. Linux is the future, it is Digital Freedom!

I had to get a cheap HP laptop for a class which is finishing up in mid-March. It has 4gb RAM with 64-bit OS, AMD Athlon Silver 3050U, Windows 11 OS. What would be the best Linux distro for basic usage?

Just trying to educate you enough so you can begin your journey. You have to learn what you need to do, just as with anything else in life. Many of us had never used Linux either before we began our journey. But we saw the advantage of doing so and put in some time educating ourselves. The JP forum is a great place to learn more. Also, YouTube has numerous videos showing how to make a bootable USB and install a Linux distro. Watch some for the distros you might want to consider. Seeing someone else do it and actually seeing the distro working can make it simpler for you when you actually get to the point of doing that.

It's Official ... the decline of Facebook/Meta has begun! Facebook's stock is in freefall, and its most significant financial backer, Peter Thiel, announced this afternoon he is resigning from the Board.

We told you the demise of Facebook was near, on this Telegram channel, in September 2021.

At the time JP declared Facebook would soon decline, he said, "it seemed difficult for even him to believe," but he was going to say it anyway, because it's what he "felt in his heart."

Today I made the jump to Patriot Mobile. Feels good to dump AT&T. I'm in a bit of a different situation. Live in a 40' fifth wheel, and need a high volume data for web.
Will be Interesting to see how this goes.

What happens when you "Boot" a computer?

1. POST (Power On Self Test) - checks all hardware.

2. Find a Boot Device - your computer needs to load its Operating System ("OS") software from some source.

3. Load the OS - for most computers, this will be Windows, MacOS, or Linux.

4. Transfer control - from the boot processes to the OS. Your computer is now operational, with the OS residing in memory for the remainder of your computing session.
