Best: get your own domain and pick any of thousands of email hosting services. My research so far on hosting your own VPS with an email server is that it’s pretty hard to make sure all your emails do not go to spam. Hence use the hosting service.

All my domains are parked with GoDaddy. What’s the benefit of moving to Epik? Prices? Anti-censorship? Please let me know!

It seemed like a mountain when I first started. I'm one of JP's "granny's" who had never heard of Linux before last September! I started with a couple of old, unused computers sitting in a closet (they were Windows 7 or 8 originally), so these were great to "practice" on! By December I sold my MacBook Pro and am using one of those old laptops as my primary machine. It has been a great journey to freedom!

Drum roll please......I did it! I have joined the ranks of de-Googlers lol. It went very smoothly and I'm thankful for that. Now comes the transition time - it will be fun to explore the fDroid 'store.' I'm so happy!
