A virtual private network (VPN) creates an encrypted connection, sometimes called a 'VPN tunnel', for your computer (or phone).

When you use a VPN, the chance your data can be intercepted by your internet service provider is greatly decreased. And, VPN services typically shield your IP address from the public internet, returning the address of your VPN provider, instead.

One thing that can really slow down Telegram on startup is having a very large cache (Temporary storage of materials). It's worth having a look at your settings to see how much it is hogging

Hi all.. what would you consider the most secure/private messaging service?

I had Nordvpn when I was on windows. I now have linux installed on all my machines. It took a little while for me to get it working on linux but it was well worth it. I had to contact nordvn and they fixed the problem instantly. I feel much better now knowing Im protected.

Awesome! I went from win7 to win10, and got so sick of it I dumped it. It's Linux for me now, and having a blast looking at several distros!

The Intel 8086 microprocessor, first introduced in 1978, has been called "a microprocessor that changed the world." It was the computing engine in the original IBM-PC computer (1981).

Hey JP, I don't know where to ask this as it's not related to the post, but I'll ask anyway...
I'm currently building a web server running ubuntu 20.04. The question is, do you have a recommendation for the web server? I've been using Apache, but I hear so much talk about nginx. What are your thoughts on nginx?
Or should I just keep on with using apache?
