First they were censoring and deleting at the account level on sites like Twitter.

Then they started removing apps from circulation because there's only two popular app stores (Google Play and Apple iOS store).

Eventually, they will start trying to take control of your technology how ever they can, at the Operating System level (Windows, MacOS). Mark my words.

If you've been following this group, you're way ahead of the curve. By learning to use Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) and the Linux O.S., you're back in control of your technology, and you're on the right path for your future. I'm proud of everyone who is learning, you're doing great! πŸ₯³πŸ‘

One of the things our Jeff.pro technology community agrees on, is Brave Search seems to be the preferred, non-big-tech alternative to Google for Web searches.

Why? Many reasons, but this is what we notice mentioned the most: "Independent search Even supposedly β€œneutral” or β€œprivate” search engines rely on big tech for results. Brave is different. We deliver results based on our own built-from-scratch index. We’re beholden to no one."

You can research Brave Search yourself: https://brave.com/search/

Kaye, I'm a 60 year old new grandma that eventually downloaded Mint and got rid of Windows 10. It was learning another language, but the people here and in the forum helped me when I had a question that I thought was stupid or too elementary. They were gracious and kind and funny. I also took the beginners class for a few months and it was remarkable. Stay, read, look up stuff. Being free is worth it.

Can someone advise me on a couple things please. I have a Dell Latitude, de-googled with Linux. I set up Thuderbird email with or through Gandi. I guess I have to pay an anual feeπŸ€·πŸ»β€β™€οΈI had to "attatch" my gmail to get it. Does any of this sound normal. (should I just use my gmail?) There were too many pages to read on the "contract agreement"with Gandi; Is this a safe one? Also, I want to start using my telegram account on the Dell/Linux computer; I cannot seem to get to do it successfully. Any suggestions?

Please help!!! 😫😣. I am trying to install linux mint to an old desktop that currently has windows 7. I changed the boot priority in BIOS, I even tried with each of the "USB" options listed in booting devices, save changes and restart. And the damn thing keeps loading windows every damn time. After searching and troubleshooting I was able to gather some info in the command prompt. Please: what am I missing here and how to make this install work? I am super frustrated. Hey adms: can I post my screenshots? Thanks. Did I mention that I fk hate windows? 😑😀....more than ever!

Hey Jeffrey. I need to Linux my Mac. Where is a good place to learn how.
On this Telegram channel, we teach Patriots how to defeat tyrannical 'big tech' organizations like Microsoft (Windows), Apple, Google, and more, by learning to use Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) and the Linux Operating System.

We go beyond the concept of 'alternate platforms', to the place where you need to be to truly take back control -- the operating system level -- and show you how to get complete control over your technology, once and for all. Linux is the future, it is Digital Freedom!

Start your Linux journey today in our technology forums -> forums.jeff.pro

VPN, Virtual Private Network
a tool for your online privacy

A virtual private network (VPN) creates an encrypted connection, sometimes called a 'VPN tunnel', for your computer (or phone).

When you use a VPN, the chance your data can be intercepted by your internet service provider is greatly decreased. And, VPN services typically shield your IP address from the public internet, returning the address of your VPN provider, instead.

One thing that can really slow down Telegram on startup is having a very large cache (Temporary storage of materials). It's worth having a look at your settings to see how much it is hogging

I had Nordvpn when I was on windows. I now have linux installed on all my machines. It took a little while for me to get it working on linux but it was well worth it. I had to contact nordvn and they fixed the problem instantly. I feel much better now knowing Im protected.

The Intel 8086 microprocessor, first introduced in 1978, has been called "a microprocessor that changed the world." It was the computing engine in the original IBM-PC computer (1981).

The 8086, designed by American software engineer Steven P. Morse, was the beginning of the "x86" processor line. Even today, most desktop computers, laptops, and game consoles are based on the x86 architecture (chip design) first introduced in the 8086.
