Maybe you've heard someone you know say, at some point:

"I'm not interested in technology."
"I don't really know about technology,"
"I don't have time for that technology stuff,"
"I'm just a simple man, technology isn't for me,"
"That's a problem for the next generation,"
"I'm too old to be interested in technology"

or something similar.

At this very moment, 9 of the 10 most valuable companies in the WORLD -- (not just the U.S.) -- are technology companies, they are destroying small business and altering our society in ways many never expected.

This change has happened in the past ten to fifteen years, while America said the things you read above.

This post is not made to offend anyone. I love my fellow Americans very much.

We say every week on this channel, it's not too late to change the course of history.

But we've got to get more involved. It is clear what happens when We the People blindly trust without being involved.

This group is full of brave, courageous Patriots who are up for the challenge.

The technology industry in its short history has always been an ebb and a flow, of boom and bust, growth and consolidation phases. At this moment, the political left has a huge head start over the rest of America in the technology sector, and they're milking it for all they can.

Let's take a step back and face reality.

The time for Americans get more involved, (again), with technology is now, before the machines start thinking.

We cannot blindly trust 'big tech' any more with the future of our nation, and the world.

In recent years, Apple and Google became two of the most valuable companies in the history of the world, with products utilizing Operating Systems (MacOS and Android) built "on top" of "Unix-like" software architecture.

American computer programmer Dennis Ritchie was a co-inventor of the Unix Operating system. Dennis also invented the "C" programming language. He is one of the most celebrated computer scientists of our time.

Although Dennis did earn degrees in math and physics, he said his most most important education was handed down at home from his father, Alistair E. Ritchie, a career scientist at Bell Labs.

That's right. Dennis Ritchie, mega programmer, co-inventor of UNIX and C, 1983 receipient of the prestigious Turing Award for computing, credited his most important education to home schooling from his Dad.

In our fight against Tyranny, we must remember that Computer Operating Systems are the most important defense that exist against deplatforming, censorship and outright control of our technology devices.

Regardless of what new online platforms and apps are released, control of device Operating Systems will ultimately determine who and what can be shut down and silenced.

The good news is, we do have Digital Freedom now with the Linux Operating System. For the future of our nation, Patriots must continue the development path of Free and Open Source software.

I've been participating in this channel since early September. I have to admit, I'm the type of person that goes through 'phases' of being ultra interested in things. However, the information I have learned here is both very helpful and very sobering. This is not something I will be able to lay aside in a couple of months. The information I have learned has triggered a great sense of responsibility, and now I feel it's my duty to change some things in my life permanently. Not just a phase. Also, the seriousness of the 'surveillance state' is not something we can ignore. It should strike the heart of every American patriot to be an ambassador for change, and an outspoken proponent of FREEDOM in our digital life. My heart has been struck and now I can't shut up! ☺️💪🏻🇺🇸

I confess that I was in the "I don't have time for this" camp for the past two decades...I was legitimately busy raising kids in the fear and admonition of the Lord, homeschooling K-12. Then I come up for air in my newly empty nest to find that the culture had shifted on its axis to the point of being nearly unrecognizable. So I am thankful for this group that held my hand while I snuck away from Apple and reclaimed some privacy. There are a myriad of things to set right in our broken world. Time for this retired homeschool mom to get busy back out in the public square. God help us all!🙏

One thing Jeff talks about on his calls is how he learned a massive movement can start with just a few people.

He built a social network with tens of millions of users, with a team of only a few hundred!

Yes! Liunx and Open Source on the desktop is a no-brainer. Everyone should be making the switch to Linux at this point. Mobile will be more of a challenge due to so many devices and components.

I like the societal implications of moving away from Tech Tyranny and closer to what our nation’s founders had in mind for us…
And I’m completely onboard and pumped to help make it happen.

Wow, still learning so much, and would NEVER think of going back! Sometimes I think I learn way more when I have to wrestle with something (i.e., VPN)!! I wish now I'd been BETTER at taking notes along the way. This granny is having great fun with it all! Hard to believe how much life has changed in just three short months!! Feeling almost like "an expert" now at some of those steps that seemed so hard at first! Began just me. Now hubby's on board. AMAZING feeling to have divorced my technology from big tech to such a degree already!! Everything you are encouraging is right on, Jeff! Excited to be part of this shift in our nation!!!

I joined a while ago and was just overwhelmed however….son visited and although we don’t see anything going on the same he just so happened to get interested in Linux so he came with a usb with installation files for Linux. We installed on my 8/9 yr old laptop I hadn’t tuned on in 4 years and I was up and running in less than 30 minutes. Just excited as how quick and easy it was! Wouldn’t have even thought about it had it not been for this chat. While work on local integrity efforts my mobile devices weren’t cutting it. Thank you.

I had Facebook for a short time ... a very short time years and years back. My kids no longer living at home wanted me on it to keep in touch. I created an account and set it up and went to bed for the night. On the radio in the morning I heard that over night Facebook had trashed all of the privacy settings for users in New Zealand. I immediately closed the account, trashed Facebook and have never used it.

A complete newbie to Linux only 1 month ago, I just completed my first major work project that required a word processor report template, a complex spreadsheet, editing of dozens pdf files and .zip archive. All done with Ubuntu&FOSS! Was nervous at first and some things took time to figure out but SO LIBERATING!!!😁
