Iโ€™m not a tech person at all, but how do we get started? Weโ€™ve got to get off our butts and get going.

Thanks for the add. I have been in the background reading JP's insights on the AZ and Mexican politics and more. I am not tech savvy but recognize this is going to be a great place to learn.

I also am not tech savvy but I find this conversation place very interesting. My daughter was IT, Military and now with Microsoft and knows a lot, I know nothing but this gives us a break from our usual sites that keep us up on the events of the world, and keep us angry, infuriated and more. This is refreshing and instructive. Thank you from an old GG GRANDMOTHER!!

About a month ago I spent an evening trying to understand Linux - reading articles, watching videos, etc. so I could ditch paying for Windows. I would like to switch, but at the end of those hours all I knew was just enough to know that I didn't have the first idea how to easily start going about it and didn't do any more with it. If there are people who want to make a difference, create a series of videos that show exactly how to do it, what to choose based on what you need, and how to find what you need on Linux to replace things you use in Windows (like the graphics that float around Gab that clearly show which new platform replaces each Big Tech platform). I know there are many women who would switch, but between homeschooling, homemaking, running a cottage business, etc. we don't have the bandwidth to figure it all out for ourselves. It's not that we couldn't do it. It's really a matter of time and only so much mental energy to get things done.

Iโ€™m with ya. I need Linux for Dummies.
For what it's worth, I think there is actually such a book available, called "Linux for Dummies", lol. Not that anyone here is actually a dummy. Please resist the temptation to comment about yours truly in that regard ๐Ÿ˜
Each new linux user is one less person the deep state can watch/monitor/spy on/control/otherwise remotely own. Yes, becoming proficient in the use of technology's free opensource ecosystem, including using Linux as your operating system of choice, is that powerful. That's not all we're going to talk about on this channel. It will be a recurring theme, in small, bite-size chunks, to learn over time.

Ty, and I'd like to note I'm ex Democrat turned Conservative myself. Was the delegate in the town I live in for the DFL. I'm no longer affiliated with anyone in this area and most have #walkedaway!

Thanks for the explanation. For Ripple's use case, I find it very strange how the SEC is going after them. Makes one wonder who are the "good guys" and who are not. Overall, it seems like blockchains are a step in the right direction but that could be my lack of understanding on how they work.

In another life, long time ago, I worked in New York City for some time. Had a chance back then to meet Curtis Silwa at an event. Thought he was sincere even back then. Maybe you won't agree with me about him--I don't know--everyone's opinions are different when it comes to politics, but I think he's sincere. And maybe you won't understand why I post this specific video tonight on my channel, but, some of you will. There's such a thing as people who don't care, and then there's guys like Curtis. I believe he does have heart, he does care, he does want to make a difference. So do I. Goodnight and God Bless you all ๐Ÿ˜˜
