I use both dissenter and brave (along with a few others). Brave is my regular go to, but I keep Dissenter in the mix in case Brave goes woke. Brave is still safe, for now.

What about Epic Browser? I tried it before and it’s really good I must say.

Why bother dual booting with Windows? Just get rid of it and use Linux.

Today I finally had time to swap OSs on the Pixel 3a that I got from backmarket.com. I was impressed with their site, shipping, and product. My wife sells on Poshmark, and BackMarket seems like Poshmark for electronics. Anyhow, I was nervous about the flashing process(LineageOS), and read and reread the instructions. I did have one hiccup, but it was caused because I had not installed Adb/Fastboot correctly. Once I had that done, it was easy. One tip is that output in the Terminal may not fully reflect what the phone is doing during the flashing process. Just be patient. Haste could cause you to brick the device. Just take your time. I am typing this from TG on the new phone!

What about Pinephone Pro? I heard it’s a first flagship Linux phone on the market.

This channel is my happy place on Telegram 🎈🎈🎈🎈 i'm learning so much. At the very first, I just could not wait to figure out how to make Linux the only operating system on my machine (I had down loaded it a couple months prior to the creation of this channel). And then to get a VPN on it that I could trust. And wanted to deg00gle my phone. Spent a long time on that one, until I finally figured out that I couldn't do it, not because I gave up, but because my carrier has the bootloader locked and there is no way around it. It seemed a bit frustrating at times, but as the weeks in this month have elapsed I have a growing confidence that I really can do this. Maybe not as fast as others, but I can figure it out slowly. So now, I not only have Linux as my only OS, and have installed a VPN and Thunderbird, I'm walking on air. More ahead i'm sure.
