Being a really non Tech individual, and this may be a stupid question, but can you buy a laptop with Linux already installed?

I am looking forward to reviving my old HP Pavillion Windows laptop. Thank you to this channel for giving me the motivation to do this. I will be loading Linux Mint. Let;s do this!

Is it really interesting that all the big corporations make use of FOSS software for themselves because it is more stable and secure, but want to basically force us through deception and even coercion to use their spyware loaded software and products.

Yes, long time Linux user…Slackware days. Just wanted a build more gaming oriented to completely ditch Winblows. With many devs working over the years, there has been much improvement for gaming on Linux.

For years Microsoft went out of its way to trash Linux in public with FUD.

Uncertainty
Doubt
They scared businesses and developers so they would stay away from Linux and open source in general. The goal was to keep people addicted to their operating system and various software.

But at the same time, Microsoft was running their critical in-house systems on Linux. Today’s Windows OS is using a lot of innovations which Linux had standardized over a decade ago.

Linode is a great learning environment. If you mess up, wipe it out and start over!

Has anyone that owns a MacBook been successful with getting Linux installed on their machine? If so, please share your experience.
