Question: I’m about to remove my dual boot setup on my desktop and go full Linux. I think I know how to do this cleanly, but I was told I would have to fix grub boot menu? Not sure how to do that.
Also my desktop has 3 drives, two are M.2 drives on the motherboard, one is a sata 2.5 drive. The one M.2 drive is my boot drive which linux is booted off, and the other two are storage for different things (fast/sensitive stuff goes on M.2 and normal stuff goes on sata 2.5). Obviously the linux system is booted off the one M.2 drive so it sees it, and it can also see the sata 2.5 drive. However, it cannot see or find the other M.2 drive. Is there config for this I need to switch? Is it in the bios settings, or is it because its mounted to windows currently?

No worries, I've installed a version of Linux on five computers. Some old some newer, all worked fine. Just do it!

Checkout the Clear phones, they look nice and the site also offers cell service as well if your interested. I am planning to purchase on of the phones once I get some bills paid off. My current phone is an oneplus 6t running lineageOS.

Y'all, I am planning to purchase a new graphic card for Linux gaming. Which brand will give me better Linux support?

I've been using Geeqie for almost 20 years. Finally ran the find duplicates on over 100,000 images. Let it run overnight. Cleaned up all sorts of duplicates. You might need a bunch of RAM. I had 32Gig.

New to the chat and have a looooong way to go but I have a quick question if anyone has advice, I sure would appreciate it. My phone is about to die and need to purchase a new one. I want to purchase smart and not buy into big tech. My current phone is a pixel and held on to it for almost four years!!!

Learn about laptop screen sizes.
In 2021, the most popular screen size for laptops was 15.6 inches. These laptops usually weigh between 4 and 6 pounds.
Other popular screen sizes are 13.3 inches for smaller laptops, and 17.3 inches, for larger, "desktop replacement" laptops.

My move to Linux was prompted by the information that Windows 11/Microsoft was going to hold on to login credentials instead of the user, and that an internet connection was required to use the system. The Windows Insider program hadn't really mentioned much about these "features" at all.

Hi! I'm new to this channel and eager to move my MSI laptop and Motorola Smartphone to Linux. If I must will purchase a better compatible laptop and phone to do this. I'm tired of the control of Big Tech. Where should I begin? I don't speak much "tech-nese" but willing to learn.

For mobile, i would recommend an unlocked pixel, and then look into CalyxOS.

Its probably best to start with the laptop first, back that up and change the operating system, then get used to it for a few days at least before also changing your phone. One change at a time.

I purchased a pixel 3 with Calyx on eBay. Battery isnt great but other than that I like it and its working well. Glad to be free from Google.

I just picked up a new Pixel 3a on ebay. I was hesitant that it was actually "new". That ended up being true and installed CalyxOS as well. The first time doing this and it was easy-peasy.
