Yes definitely. I prefer Telegram. Instead of sharing personal info with alot of people when I would rather not, I'm actually communicating with people in ways that improve my life.

I am FREE!!! ... I am free! I have broken the chains of bondage of BIG Tech with the help and motivation of this team. I have to admit I tried 3 distro's in this effort and finished with Mint. In order to stay motivated in making the Linux leap I forced myself to completely wipe the File Systems on all drives and start from scratch with Btrfs. I have all backups. I wiped 7 TB and reformatted a couple of times in the effort. This put me in a necessary bind so that if I gave up it would cause more trouble to go back. At least a 4 days build and weeks of tweaks effort from scratch to my MS setup. Instead I used the 4 days to push through installation and learning I could do this. Never again looking back. The wipe was the only path to a Linux victory for me.

Gab is the only platform that doesn't censor free speech. It does censor illegal activity such as porn and threats of violence.

I got rid of FB 7 years ago. I have more time and know who my friends are ;) Good move!!

I have been suspended twice from Twitter and hate the platform but unfortunately right now, it’s still far superior to these other sites as far as reach.

I have a Gigabyte Brix mini pc and have Linux Zorin 16 Pro installed and it is amazing! This pc is 4 yrs old. I say get one!

Twitter also comes with "shadow banning" of conservative voices. I've read many testimonies of people saying that they had 50k+ followers on Twitter and would only get may 200 likes/retweets etc. But on Gab, even though they only have 6000 followers, they are getting 10k+ likes/reposts.

I prefer Telegram also. I do go to Gab sometimes where I have an account. But I prefer Telegram. I don’t really like being on social media. Never have. Telegram is the only one that holds my interest.

I'm just learning, but its looking like a de-googled phone is the most functional option at this time.
