PRAYER
Almighty God, Heavenly Father, we thank You that every word and every ordinary task may be offered to You, and that You receive the work of our hands when it is done in gratitude.
Grant us discernment this week, that we would not drift with the patterns around us but would number our hours and spend them in what is true and lasting. Keep us alert in our work, our speech, and our decisions, and deliver us from wastefulness and from the weariness that comes when we forget Whom we serve.
Give us courage to stand firm where the times press against faithfulness, and humility to seek Your will in ordinary duties. Establish Your people in quiet diligence, that we would finish what You have set before us and not lose heart.
We ask this in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Amen.

They are getting closer to releasing a device that the public will like.
These glasses will probably be much more popular.

It's true!
Not to say that AI tools can't help with engineering, because they do.
But, engineers build much more reliable systems, regardless of the tools they use.
To build good and reliable systems, aim to learn engineering, and use your modern tools profesionally.

Hi friends! Sometimes, it might seem like I'm critical of "AI" from some of my posts here.
That is actually not the case at all.
Rightfully concerned, yes. Blatantly negative or critical, conceptually? No way.
You should know by now that technology and computers have been the greater part of my life story, since I was a little boy - which was a long time ago.
What happens is that no matter who you are, no matter what your life story, at some point, (hopefully), we grow up. (Some more than others.)
First of all, when I post about how to learn to use AI professionally, that's with the best of intent. It's the right kind of encouragement for you, whether you're using it for everyday tasks, or with more serious goals in mind (for example, using AI to build customized systems to organize your business). You'd much prefer to build systems with strong, well organized foundations, that will last, than a random hodge podge of instructions that 'kind of work' but you don't really understand how or why. No serious engineer would tell you to work that way, no matter what the tools.
There's right and wrong ways to use any kind of tool. That is a constant in this lifetime. AI is the same. It's a tool. Learn to use it carefully and correctly, and it can be, for a professional programmer, like doing construction with a bulldozer instead of a shovel. Used incorrectly, it can do a lot of damage. Put to work correctly, you stand to be more effective.
Second of all, along my life's journey, I realized that God is real, and my faith in Him strengthened and became absolute. And to me, that is now the most important thing.
I don't ask that you agree with me on everything. Over the past few years, twenty thousand or more people have disconnected from this channel, I'd estimate that half of them did so because they were leaving Telegram anyways, to go back to X. This has been seen on most "conservative" and "truther" Telegram channels, not only here.
The other half of those people left, because they don't like that I post about Christian faith in addition to tech - according to our traffic charts, most of them would leave on Sundays - the day when more people have left the Jeff.pro channel than any other day - when I post prayers on the channel - they find it to be a "strange" combination (tech, and Christian faith).
On the one hand, I understand them, because when I was younger, and my faith wasn't as strong as it is today, I had plenty of moments feeling that way, or similarly. So I get it, from distant memories, remembering a time when God seemed more distant, and worldly things seemed much more tangible and "easier" to focus on, requring less depth of thought. Yet, honestly, compared to the contentment from the faith I feel these days, I'd never want to go back to those feelings of vague uncertainty.
So, the exodus of those of less faith from here leaves us, today, with a much more like-minded group of twenty-something thousand viewers, of whom four to five thousand are quite engaged, and the rest check in from time to time. I do think at some point my Telegram audience will start going the other way, growing instead of shrinking. We shall see.
Back to tech as a topic, by the way, if you're still here, you might agree with me as I reflect for a moment that there is no more advanced, wise and capable technologist in our universe than God himself, who created all of it. He's literally the best at math and science, in all history. And, when we think about His purposes, His creation of the sun, moon, the stars, and earth, among everything else, is proof of His enduring, divine love. (Psalm 136)
So amazing, when you take a moment or longer to stop and consider all of it, as deeply as we possibly can.
