PRAYER

Sovereign Father, we marvel at how You weave the tapestry of lives across continents and generations. Through Your perfect wisdom, You brought our families together in ways only Your providence could design, crafting bonds that reflect Your eternal love, in this nation where our founders recognized these timeless truths: life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

We thank You for this life's sacred journey.

And our hearts overflow with gratitude for Your precious gift of family, where our cherished relationships mirror Your perfect care, and for all the countless ways You have helped us through our seasons of growth and change.

As believers, daily we find fresh delight in Your Word, discovering deeper wells of wisdom in Your eternal truth.

Yet we pray to You now not only for ourselves, but looking toward Your greater purposes. For You have taught us to pray beyond ourselves, to seek first Your kingdom, to carry in our hearts the needs of all Your people.

And so we pray today for our nation's leadership, remembering Your command to pray for those in authority.

At this pivotal moment in our history, when Your divine counsel is so urgently needed, we ask and pray for Your guidance to rest upon those who guide our nation's course, as we remember how blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord. And so for this, we earnestly pray:

Grant our leaders the clarity of mind and strength of character to make decisions of historic importance, Father, illuminating their path when wisdom calls for action, restraining their hand when prudence demands pause, and guiding their deepest deliberations with your perfect wisdom.

Another massive data breach, accomplished by "infostealer" malware, which runs on Microsoft Windows environments, but generally not on Linux - again demonstrating how much safer you are if you switch your computers to Linux.

Mighty God, whose wisdom surpasses all understanding, we pray to You today, trusting that You work all things together for good according to Your eternal purpose. Your Word declares that those who trust in You shall find perfect peace, and we rejoice that Your sovereign purpose remains unchangeable, Your mercy unfailing, Your protection sure.

We pray that You let Your sovereign grace flow like morning light across troubled waters, for You alone can perfectly transform the human heart from instrument of war to vessel of peace. We marvel at Your patient love and Your healing touch, and Your eternal truth which pierces through deception and darkness.

Send forth Your Holy Spirit to us, Father, to strengthen and sustain us today and in the week ahead. Fill us anew with Your divine power and Holy resolve, that we can always stand strong in Your truth, our hearts filled with unwavering faith, our steps guided by Spirit-led wisdom.

And we pray that You make us faithful ambassadors of Your reconciling power, for You have entrusted to us this. When uncertainty looms like gathering storms, anchor us in Your unchanging promise that Christ, our Prince of Peace, shall reign. Unite us in such bold witness that our very lives declare Your victory, our fellowship demonstrates Your healing power, and our worship rises as testament that in Christ alone all peace is found.

We rest secure in Your sovereign care, trusting that You who calmed raging seas can surely bring peace to our troubled world, all for Your eternal glory which shines like the morning star across the ages.
