1987. Gosh that was a long time ago. Most of the 300+ people working at KCSB-FM in my home town were University students in their 20's but somehow I ended up there due to all the time I had spent in the UCSB computer center nearby. Guess I was fifteen years old in that picture. Had the third or fourth place in management back then as "traffic manager," worked on time slots and content at the station.

This pretty loud, opinionated, yet determined and somewhat nice guy showed up at the University radio station in my home town where I had one of my first jobs. Gave us a big pitch about how he wanted to start broadcasting news commentary. We put him on a morning time slot at the station where he started his first show. His name was Sean Hannity.

PRAYER

Heavenly Father, as Your Spirit's presence first fell upon awaiting hearts at this time, we seek today a fresh outpouring, for You who descended have never withdrawn Your presence. Through every age, in times of triumph and trial, Your love has continued to illuminate, to quicken, to transform.

Like morning light breaking upon distant mountains, we pray that You pour out fresh anointing upon Your people. Though we are but earthly vessels, Your power needs no human eloquence - for when Heaven's might touches yielded hearts, the simplest testimony shakes the foundations of darkness with divine authority.

In these days of digital communications and uncertain, quickly shifting realities for many, we pray that You set our hearts ablaze with such holy passion that no earthly power can silence Your truth.

We pray that You let Your Spirit sweep through our nation like mighty wind, igniting beacons of hope where despair has taken root, kindling flames of Christian unity where division has torn our country apart due to amgibuity of soulless leadership and the evil one's deception.

O Mighty Counselor, lift our vision beyond the narrow confines of earthly comforts--beyond the boundaries of what eyes can see. Transform our anxious thoughts into calm faith and triumphant praise, until every yielded life becomes a torch of revival, spreading Your unstoppable love throughout a lost world desperately needing Heaven's touch.

We pray that You pour out Your presence now, with such divine power that the gates of hell cannot prevail - for You who transformed common fishermen into world-changing apostles still moves among us, still comforts, still enlightens, and still quickens hearts toward eternal purpose.

And You who descended at Pentecost gives us all we need to stand today with boldness in our generation.

In the mighty and eternal name of Jesus Christ our Lord,

And the conditions were brutal.

No contact with the outside world. No windows. Just a concrete block.

Telegram founder Pavel Durov told Tucker Carlson that after being apprehended at Le Bourget Airport in Paris by France’s customs police, he was taken to a makeshift prison.

“And then I spent four days in police custody, the building in south of Paris that I think is run by the customs police officers.”

Carlson asked:

“You spent four days with contact, no phone, in what kind of accommodations?”

Durov said the conditions were bleak:

“Was a 7 square meter room, or 70FT² room and no windows, concrete block.”

“A bed this narrow, no linen, no pillow, a mattress this thin, like a yoga mat this thin, maybe one centimeter, half inch.”

“And that’s it. And constantly blinking light, which was a bit annoying.”

Carlson: “Locked door?”

Durov: “Yeah, the door was very securely locked, I must say.”

Carlson: “So you’re in a cell?”

Durov: “Yes, it was a solitary cell, so to say. There were no other people there.”

Carlson: “So they put you in solitary confinement?”

Durov: “You could say that, yes.”
