Sovereign Lord, in this sacred time, we stand firm in the hope we feel from Your glory, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance, and perseverance builds character that does not disappoint.
Father, as Your people face mounting challenges to religious liberty, we remember that Your Spirit empowers us not with timidity, but with power, love, and sound mind. We pray that You pour out Your wisdom upon those You've called to be parents and educators, entrusted with the sacred duty to defend Your truth, that our children of all ages - from the youngest to those grown with families of their own - may stand firm in Your ways and walk in Your light.
Holy Spirit, even as cultural forces seek to reshape fundamental truths You established from creation, we pray that You unite Your people in displaying both unwavering conviction and compassion like that we were taught by Christ. Let Your church arise as a beacon of hope, drawing many to salvation through the unchanging power of Your gospel.
