Goal is to be at my best right now.

IIT? It’s just a check point.

But the goal is to be hyper functional β€œright now”

because only right now is in your hands.

Worry of future and regret of past are survival instincts. β€œRise above them”

Be honest. How many questions have you actually solved today?

This is so not expected from you guys 😞

I try to make good content and this is what you assume???

I was trying to deduce this equation, if anyone gets any lead. do share

is it possible for sum of squares of 2 integers to be equal to twice of square of a different integer

i.e a^2+b^2 = 2.c^2 for all a,b,c being integers.

Edit 1
Some students suggested 1,7,5 which works well

Edit 2
Probably infinite pairs exist, as a student shared multiple results from chatGPT

Edit 3
A student shared (7n)^2 + (n)^2 = 2.(5n)^2 which is generalization of edit and same can be done for others, which means infinite solution,

Daily 8-10 hours of studies is enough!

Don’t turn into a zombie by the time you reach IITs.

Also, If it becomes 10+ out of passion, then it’s fine.

Par don’t force beyond it. Utne me marks ni aare to work on art of β€œeffective work”

Introduced YPT in SO60 community, This is fun πŸ€“

For those who don't know: Its a competitive study tracking, and task management app. ( There's more to it )

This is SO60 https://courses.jeesimplified.com/courses

I was browsing problem solving content provided by many youtube channels

Issue1: In most of the videos, most of the people are trying to validate the answer. Like, do this then this, then this.

Issue2: In many advanced videos, they vaguely skip a point by overshadowing a blurry and wrong assumption, probably because the teacher didn't come prepared, and the job was supposed to be done somehow buy a certain deadline.

Effect of Issue 1: Telling the solution effectively is like being a precise talker, while a teacher's job is to discuss on how the very though arises. "The connect", not just the pointers, and this is something only a good student can deduce, an average one will try to memorise the solution.

Effect of Issue 2: Doubts and under-confidence arises in students because they trust the teacher, only the smart ones have enough confidence to counter.

Now, I'll be honest 1/2 of my own content is me giving pointers, just that selectivity of questions and my emotional reflection is uniqe, which sparks the interest in many. But still to be a good teacher I need to focus on providing the "How could one think of this" which i have tried to embed in so60 to some extent, and will map it to more questions in it.

Same for youtube/Free content, I'll work more on true teaching then being a good pointer.

Before Sleeping I was about watch one piece, ordered a burrito

But! some how we landed on a random pnc question

and its been more than 2 hours since I have been running my head around it πŸ˜‚ later priyank joined it and here we are stuck decoding… the anime has to wait.

It feels so free while trying to deduce patterns out of beautiful illustrations, one of the highest forms of pleasure for me πŸ™ŒπŸ»

Aaisa lagta hai bohot pesa kamane ke baad sirf sawal hi lagaunga πŸ˜‚

A huge shout-out to Chetan sir
[CLICK HERE], Last night I hunted for the solution of this PnC question asked in IITK's mock and almost on all youtube channels it was wrong, and wrong too in exactly same pattern.

Only this 1 teacher highlighted the right solution at first, and I felt a deep sense of admiration.

Also, Arvind kalia sir is also one of a kind, his approach was different and yet to be completed in the old video, later he shared the right solution today only, also giving an appreciation to Chetan sir.

and any upcoming videos will contain the right answer because there was a first person who denied the existing approaches and cross questioned, my huge respect to these people.

As a JEE Aspirant I was always afraid of PNC and surprisingly, It is turning into my fav chapter. Today I realised the reason why.

Becasue PnC is the only chapter in math which is least focused on memorizing formulas or patterns. Every good new question is new from scratch.

It demands true active thinking. while other chapters can be mastered by an effective pattern memorizer too. but in PnC, you can't get it done until your brain truly know how to solve a question

πŸ’‘Fun question

Find the probability that x^2 + bx + c has real roots, considering both b and c belongs to [-1,1]
❀20πŸ‘5
The answer is 13/24

In a square bounded by [+-1,+-1] you have to calculate the area out side the parabola b^2=4c and divided it by area of square.
