The other day, I needed to print some documents and found myself searching for a copy shop. Like many, I ran into the usual hassle of transferring files—some use USB drives, others rely on messaging apps like Telegram.
I thought, there has to be a simpler way.
At the time, I was learning Laravel, so I decided to use it as an opportunity to put my skills to the test. The result is https://fizza.mesnoy.com — a tool designed to make file sharing quick and easy. I used Laravel for the backend and Elm to build the file uploader.
It’s still in the testing phase, and I’d love to get your feedback on how it works and how it could be improved.
Let me know what you think!
I know the name is kinda weird, but I'm stuck with it, 😭. Always name your projects properly.

I won flutter app of the year, this's for the glory and honor of God! 🥳
Thank you so much everyone that stepped up and voted for my app. You guys are the absolute best and the most supportive community there is. We pretty much won the moment the program was announce so thank you so much. Genuinely mean it!🙏
This isn't just a win for me but for everyone that supported my project, for everyone who voted, for the flutter community here and most importantly for the devs and designers who contributed to the project you guys are equal winners. If you're a contributor feel free to say your work has won flutter app of the year as well. I will back you up. ❤️
I would like to thank @ragoose_dumps who pushed me to submit my app and compete, who's been a huge supporter of me as well. Thank you my dude you're so wholesome and amazing. This's your win as well Dave!😊
My twitter is blowing up with followers and wholesome comments from people I admire. I'm just super happy about it and so grateful of the good things God is doing in my life. This's for Him, every win of mine is a win for my Lord. I'm super grateful of everything!🌷

Do you know you have to be a developer before you "become a 10x developer with AI"?

You start thinking that circles are just lots of little straight lines, but then seeing circles everywhere and you start thinking that straight lines are just circles centred at infinity with an infinite radius

I wanted to test some backend in NestJS + Mongo but i don't have mongo setup in my pc. So what did I do?
Me: "i dont want to install mongo db in my local machine. can i run it in a docker container then access it in localhost"
Deepseek: "😂😂😂😂 duhhh...who are you?? didn't you say you are a software engineer the other day"
Me: "bro calm down, you are just a crappy algorithm calculating the probablity of the next word you have to say, anyways can you just get to the point?"
Deepseek: "skill issues😝😝"
Deepseek: here it is weirdo..
just pull the mongo image
then run it
-d: Runs the container in detached mode (in the background).
-p 27017:27017: Maps port 27017 on your local machine to port 27017 in the container (MongoDB's default port).
--name bros-mongo: Gives the container a name (bros-mongo in this case).
mongo: The Docker image to use.
if you want to see your databases, see your collections or anything, you can do it after you login to the container
then run

Specialization is too heavily encouraged as a career path. Becoming a generalist is one alternative, but there is another path less discussed: become a hybrid.

Don't specialize, hybridize
Specialization is too heavily encouraged as a career path. The world needs more hybrid people.
