Russia bombed schools filled with children and other civilian targets, and the pundits and politicians demanded we be outraged. Israel bombed schools filled with children and hospitals, and the the political class is demanded we cheer it on and don't protest.
The issue was never about the children, it was your allegiance to the empire. They don't give a damn about consistency or right or wrong. That's what people mean when they say "it's complicated."
