Ideal candidate: has solid FinTech and trading experience

Hiring Process:
- Pre-screening with Jaya Talent
- Two interview rounds with the client leadership team
- Reference checks
- Selection and offer

Key Responsibilities:
1. Technical Leadership: Define and execute the long-term technical vision and strategy for Yellow Network.
2. Team Management: Lead, mentor, and scale a team of 20-50+ developers across backend, blockchain, frontend, and infrastructure.
3. Engineering Culture: Foster a high-performance engineering culture with effective agile processes.
4. Infrastructure Oversight: Ensure reliability and security of platform infrastructure and operations (DevOps/SRE).
5. Innovation & Research: Drive research into emerging technologies (Blockchain, DeFi, FinTech) and integrate findings into product development.
6. Representation: Act as a technical representative at conferences, in media, and with partners.
7. Strategic Partnerships: Lead technical aspects of partnerships and integrations.
8. Hands-On Problem Solving: Maintain a hands-on approach to critical technical decisions and prototyping.

Desired Qualifications:
- Proven leadership experience managing engineering teams (20-50+).
- Expertise in Go, Solidity, Kubernetes, Linux, React, Next.js, TypeScript (Rust knowledge is a plus).
- Mastery of blockchain fundamentals, L2/L3 scaling (State Channels), DeFi protocols, and smart contract security.
- Significant experience with HFT systems, exchange architecture, financial protocols (e.g., FIX).
- Strong strategic thinking and communication skills for articulating complex concepts.

Ideal Candidate Traits:
- Strong team leadership maturity with active listening skills.
- Ability to bridge engineering with market needs and collaborate across departments.
- Creative problem-solving skills with hands-on technical expertise in blockchain technologies.

Additional Information:
Quarterly business trips are expected to HQ or events. The role requires public speaking experience and familiarity with on-chain trading systems.
