There are many things at stake in the upcoming election, not to mention the least of which, is the Republic itself, but I thank God that these two candidates are being used by God to separate the wheat from the chaff.

I received a text from a friend who lives there, and this is just a snapshot of the pain that is being experienced there.

"Pastor Jack, Thank you for asking. We want to be the hands and feet of Jesus to our devastated community. It’s heart breaking - so very heartbreaking. There is destruction everywhere - and just after homes were rebuilt from the storm two years ago. Many homes were swept away by the sea and others burned to the ground. Mess is everywhere. People have PTSD - we are trying to pray with neighbors but it’s difficult to get to them. Please ask Jesus to reveal himself to our neighbors and give them peace. And please pray that we will have great wisdom in knowing what to focus on first. The island needs power and water to be turned back on, and helping hands.
