Pruning of fruit trees 🏡

1️⃣th year or the year of planting - cut off all side branches;
2️⃣th year - pinch all side shoots to a length of about 30 cm. Do not touch the top shoot. In the future it will serve as a continuation of the trunk;
3️⃣th year - pinch the upper shoots of trees at the level of 20-25 cm, side shoots - up to 40 cm;
4️⃣th year - thin out branches of the 3rd year and remove the thinnest and smallest branches growing inside the crown and shading each other;
5️⃣th year - limit the growth of the tree to a height of about 3 meters, remove branches that are thickening;
6️⃣th year onwards - remove inward-growing shoots and branches that thicken the crown.
