Objectives:
The MAB Young Scientists Award Scheme aims to:
1. encourage young scientists, in particular those from developing countries, to use MAB research, project sites and biosphere reserves in their research;
2. encourage young scientists who already use such sites to undertake comparative studies in other sites in or outside their own country;
3. promote and encourage the exchange of information and experience among a new generation of scientists;
4. strengthen communication of the LAP within the young scientists and strengthen its visibility;
5. involve young scientist in the implementation of the LAP;
6. enhance awareness among young scientists of the role of research in the implementation of the SDGs – in particular when conducted in biosphere reserves.

Цели:

Схема награждения молодых ученых MAB направлена на:
1. поощрять молодых ученых, особенно из развивающихся стран, к использованию исследований МАБ, проектных участков и биосферных заповедников в своих исследованиях;
2. поощрять молодых ученых, которые уже используют такие сайты, проводить сравнительные исследования на других сайтах в своей стране или за ее пределами;
3. продвигать и поощрять обмен информацией и опытом среди нового поколения ученых;
4. усилить коммуникацию LAP среди молодых ученых и усилить ее видимость;
5. привлекать молодых ученых к реализации LAP;
6. повысить осведомленность молодых ученых о роли исследований в реализации ЦУР, в частности, в биосферных резерватах.
