а ещё не могу не поделиться, вы просто посмотрите на это
*и сериал на английском посмотрите, если ещё не пробовали — сначала может казаться, что the cringe of it is overwhelming, а потом это начнёт нравиться*

Hello:) After spending most of the week sick and with a sore throat, there’s something I’d like to share with you👾

#1 First, a confession:

I’m not that good at perceiving audio information if it’s not a case of real communication. In our classes it’s easy to follow your speech because we’re all living human beings interacting with each other. And I can do listening tasks successfully because I love tests.

But listening to an audiobook or a podcast has always been unattainable for me — whether it’s my favorite book or topic, whether it’s my favorite speaker — in 20 seconds I would find my mind traveling somewhere else. *To this day this is the most complex part of all the course book/exam listening tasks for me — staying concentrated on the recording, while comprehension itself is quite easy*

#2 the first ever podcast I am able to listen to — fiction podcast — Welcome to Night Vale

The NY Times says it’s as if Stephen King or David Lynch produced your local radio. I say it’s better.

If you need something to practice your listening/shadowing skills and you have a B2+ level — give it a try. It will sound like a real radio, but from a surreal place.

Will definitely appeal to people who like asking rational questions and remembering their dreams 🤩
