The word አይዞህ/ሽ has no exact equivalent in any other language.
If you pause to think about it, the word itself has no literal meaning; we have simply habituated it as a comforting wish for the troubled. Yet, it is distinctly different from saying በርታ/ቺ (be strong) or ያልፋል (it will pass).
