Microsoft says a new Windows feature will see anything you saw once on screen. The new Windows 11 feature, called Recall, part of a new brand 'Copilot+' was designed to indicate the PCs most capable of handling AI tasks.

Even if you don’t remember what you saw, artificial intelligence will screenshot it — it uses a variety of small language models running in combination on the PC itself to find your digital footprint, which is in contrast with ChatGPT and Google's Gemini using large language models running in the cloud. Apple launches ‘Tap to Cash’, touch-pay iPhone function

Apple has unveiled a Tap to Cash feature that let’s people send each other money simply by tapping their iPhones. Rolled out as part of iOS 18 update, users can send and receive Apple Cash without having to share any personal details.

The feature is similar to Tap to Pay, which launched a couple of years ago and lets merchants accept payments with a tap to an iPhone.

And we all know how well that works…

Boeing accused of ‘losing’ HUNDREDS of faulty parts

18.06.24 - A Boeing quality inspector alleged that the company lost track of hundreds of faulty parts, some possibly installed on new 737 Max planes. These claims were detailed in a June 11 complaint by inspector Sam Mohawk with OSHA, made public by a Senate subcommittee.

The complaint states Boeing lost up to 400 faulty parts and deleted their records from an internal system. Additionally, Mohawk claimed Boeing intentionally hid improperly stored parts from the FAA before an inspection. (Text RT)

EU charges Apple with rule breach, heavy fine likely

The EU antitrust regulator has sent its findings to Apple over charges that the Big Tech giant is breaching rules regarding app developers engaging with users.

Pending a final decision by next March, the bloc could demand a fine worth 10% of the company’s turnover in what is the first case under the new Digital Markets Act.
