I didn't cover this in my thread on Freemasonry (I could have made it much longer than it already is) but these posts by General Flynn definitely bring my dig to mind.

Despite the first papal condemnation of Freemasonry under Pope Clement XII in 1738, who called the Freemasons "depraved and perverted," and many other popes reaffirming this condemnation, General Flynn and Archbishop Viganò's posts give me the impression that Freemasons never actually left the Catholic church. They've been hiding in plain sight while publicly condemning Freemasonry. There are two factions of the church, just as there are two factions to the United States government: one that serves satan, and one that serves God.
