▪️In the south of the Gaza Strip, during the last week, Israeli forces slowly expanded the zone of control in Khan Yunis city. Israeli forces are slowly advancing west of Khan Yunis. In the south of the city, the zone of control has been extended to the vicinity of Absan al-Kabirah.

▪️In the center of the Gaza Strip, clashes continue in al-Bureij and al-Maghazi and in the east of Nusirat. During the last week, Israeli forces advanced in the southern areas of al-Maghazi. Also, partial advances have been made in the east of Nusirat.

▪️In the north of the Gaza Strip, the Israeli occupying forces have re-entered the Sheikh Ijlin area and south of Rimal after withdrawing from Gaza City two weeks ago. The reason for this limited advance is the increase in Palestinian activity in these areas. During the last two weeks, thousands of Palestinians had flocked to these areas waiting for food trucks, and the situation had gone out of the control for the occupying forces.

🔰 24 Israeli Military Forces Killed In Gaza Just In One Day Operation!

▪️The Israeli regime’s army has admitted that it has lost 24 military forces on Monday in clashes in the Gaza Strip, marking the heaviest toll for the Israeli military in a single day during the ground operation in the besieged strip.

▫️The Israeli regime’s army spokesman Daniel Hagari emphasized that the battles in Khan Younis city are very difficult and intense, and that the regime suffered heavy losses in this area.

▪️Yesterday, a group of Israeli reserve forces from the 261st Infantry Brigade entered nearly 600 meters in the Al-Maghazi refugee camp to blow up several buildings. They were tasked with demolishing 10 buildings with the help of engineering forces. On the other side, Palestinian forces fired two rocket-propelled grenades (RPGs) at the Israeli forces, the first RPG hit a tank, which was stationed there to protect those soldiers, and killed two soldiers; and the second RPG hit a building, where explosives had been laid. The second RPG caused the explosives in the building to detonate, collapsing two buildings and causing a large number of Israeli soldiers to be killed and trapped under the rubble. In this incident, a total of 21 people were killed.

▫️Furthermore, during other clashes in the southern Gaza Strip, three more Israeli occupation soldiers, including a captain and two majors, were killed, bringing the total number of Israeli military casualties on Monday to 24.

▪️It is worth mentioning that with the death of these individuals, the claimed casualties by the Israeli regime after the start of the ground offensive in the Gaza Strip have increased to 218. Also, the total number of military casualties according to the Israeli regime’s claim has reached 555 since the onset of the conflict (October 7, 2023) until now.

🔰 Hezbollah Attacks Strategic Meron Base Once More

▪️Lebanon’s resistance movement Hezbollah targeted the Israeli army’s air command base in the Mount Meron with at least 15 guided anti-tank missiles.

▫️According to a statement from Hezbollah, this attack was carried out in response to recent Israeli regime assassinations in Lebanon and Syria, as well as repeated attacks by the regime’s army on civilians and homes in southern Lebanese villages.

▪️This is the second attack by Hezbollah on the air command base in Mount Meron. The Lebanese resistance fighters targeted the Meron Air Surveillance Base with the launch of 40 Katyusha rockets and 22 guided anti-tank missiles (Dehlaviyeh-3 missile or 9M133 Kornet-M Russian anti-tank guided missile), in the first attack on January 6.

▫️The Meron Air Surveillance Base is located at the top of Mount Meron in northern Israeli-occupied territories, the highest peak in occupied Palestine. This military base is considered the sole center for the management, protection, and air control in northern occupied Palestine and, alongside the Ramon-Mitzpe base in the southern occupied territories, is one of Israel’s two main air command bases.

▪️The Meron base is involved in organizing, coordinating, and managing all Israeli air operations in Syria, Lebanon, Turkey, Cyprus, and the northern sector of the Mediterranean Sea. The base is also the main center for electronic disruption operations in the airspace of these areas, with a large number of skilled Israeli officers and soldiers actively operating there.

🔰 US Carries Out Airstrikes On Alleged Iranian-Backed Militias In Iraq

▪️In the early hours of January 24, the U.S. fighter jets carried out airstrikes against Hashd al-Shaabi (PMU) bases in Jurf al-Nasr area located in Babil province, Al-Qaim and an area near the Trebil crossing located in Anbar province of Iraq.

▫️According to Hashd al-Shaabi organization, a fighter of this organization named “Ali Anwar Sabih al-Saadi” was martyred in the American attacks and two others were wounded.

▪️Al Jazeera reported, quoting an American official, that the attacks were carried out against the PMU’s Kataeb Hezbollah in response to recent operations against American bases in the region.

🗣 After this attack, the U.S. government officially accepted the responsibility of this military operation. The United States Terrorist Headquarters in West Asia (CENTCOM) announced in a statement:
"In response to attacks by the Iranian-backed militia group Kataib Hezbollah (KH), including the attack on al-Asad Airbase in western Iraq on Jan. 20, on Jan. 24 at 12:15 a.m. (Iraq time), U.S. CENTCOM forces conducted unilateral airstrikes against three facilities used by Iranian-backed Kataib Hezbollah militia group and other Iran-affiliated groups in Iraq. These strikes targeted KH headquarters, storage, and training locations for rocket, missile, and one-way attack UAV capabilities."
