Imam Al Awzaee (رحمه الله) said:
اصبر نفسك على السنة و قف حيث وقف القوم و قل بما قالوا
و كف عما كفوا عنه, واسلك سبيل سلفك الصالح. فانه يسعك ما وسعهم
Make yourself patient upon the Sunnah, stop where the people stopped, speak with what they spoke with, and refrain from what they refrained from. And follow the path of your Righteous Predecessors (Salafus Sālih) for verily, sufficient for you is that which was sufficient for them.
