It is with sadness that we inform you of the news that The 'Alim, Mujahid, and Defender of the Sunnah, Shaykh Rabī’ bin Hādī al-Madkhalī has passed away today
Shaykh Rabī’ bin Hādī al-Madkhalī was from the most senior scholars of our time. He specialised in the science of Hadīth and was known for his works in refutation of Bid’ah and its people. Praised by the great Imāms of our time like al-Albānī, bin Bāz, ibn ‘Uthaymīn, Muqbil al-Wādi’ī and others رحمة الله عليهم.
We ask Allah to grant him Jannatul Firdous, pardon him, and protect him from the torment of the grave and the hellfire. Ameen

🛡 A Heartfelt Advice to All Muslims!
🎙 Shaykh Dr. Rabīʿ ibn Hādī ʿUmayr al-Madkhalī (may Allah have mercy upon him) said:
All praise is due to Allah, and may peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah, and upon his family, his companions, and those who follow him.
I advise myself and my Salafi brothers in every place—indeed, all Muslims—to have taqwā of Allah, the Blessed and Exalted, and to be mindful of Him in private and in public.
I advise myself and them to give due attention to seeking knowledge, because people are in desperate need of it. The presence of scholars is essential, but the existence of scholars cannot come about unless groups of students of knowledge prepare themselves properly—so they may rise to the level of true scholars and lead the Ummah with the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, upon the path of the righteous predecessors—in what pleases Allah and saves them from His wrath, by avoiding sins and wrongdoings, and by protecting the people from innovations, misguidance, and from falling into desires.
This Ummah was only established upon knowledge—knowledge found in the Book and the Sunnah. And it only excelled and conquered the world through knowledge and noble character—morals taken from the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of the Messenger ﷺ.
So I advise them to acquire knowledge and strive earnestly upon the path of the Salaf, who used to dedicate themselves to learning. They would travel long distances, from the east of the earth to its west. A man would travel for a month or two just for the sake of one ḥadīth. Why? Because they understood the value of the knowledge brought by Muḥammad ﷺ.
I also advise them to be sincere to Allah, the Blessed and Exalted, in seeking knowledge—whether it be in what they study on their own, or what they learn from the scholars of knowledge. And I advise them to adhere to Islamic manners and noble character—that the elder shows mercy to the younger, and the younger honours the elder.
Let us revive what Muḥammad ﷺ came with—in knowledge, action, morals, and manners. For these matters have greatly weakened and become insignificant in the eyes of some groups—so you see neither manners, nor morals, nor knowledge, nor honesty—how unfortunate this is!
We ask Allah to purify the earth of such people, and to replace them with better ones—those who carry true knowledge, sound religion, righteous deeds, and noble character.
This is what I advise myself and my brothers, and I believe this much is sufficient—for whoever listens and bears witness.
And may peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muḥammad, his family, and his companions.
