🗓️ THE MONTH OF MUHARRAM
It's a short notice but alhamdulillah, tomorrow we have Ustadh Ibrahim Ibn AbdiDhahir coming to WCO Masjid in East London to give a talk on the month of Muharram for the brothers and sisters
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
الصَّلاَةِ بَعْدَ الصَّلاَةِ الْمَكْتُوبَةِ الصَّلاَةُ فِي جَوْفِ اللَّيْلِ وَأَفْضَلُ الصِّيَامِ بَعْدَ شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ صِيَامُ شَهْرِ اللَّهِ الْمُحَرَّمِ
The best prayer after the prescribed prayers is a prayer offered in the middle of the night. The best fast after the month of Ramadan is fasting in the month of Allah, al-Muharram
[Sahih Muslim 1163]
