‎انا لله وانا اليه راجعون

To Allāh we belong, and to Him we will return.

‎Dr Muhammad Muhsin Khan, who famously translated the Qurʾān into english passed away in Madīnah today, aged 97 (in Hijrī years).

‎He was also the first person to translate Ṣaḥīh al-Bukhārī into english.

‎May Allāh have mercy on him, and bless him with perpetual rewards for his work.

The day of ʿĀshūrāʾ is a symbol of justice and standing against oppression.

‎May we learn from how Mūsā عليه السلام and Ḥusayn رضي الله عنه stood up for justice, and may Allāh protect us against oppression.
