Fans of Türkish football club, Konyaspor welcome the Palestinian National Team with a display of solidarity with Gaza.

Tifos were unveiled featuring 1014 athletes and journalists killed by the occupation forces in Gaza, along with an image of Muḥammad al-Durrah who was killed 26 years ago, and “Soul of my soul” Reem with her grandfather Khaled Nabhan.

Before the game started, supporters threw toys onto the pitch which were intended to go to Palestinian children.

The remains of 105 Palestinians, including children who were killed by Isr*el in Gaza three years ago were finally put to rest.

Family members of the victims performed janazah prayers over the remains, which were wrapped in Palestinian flags.

Sophia Dasser, a Muslim student and editor-in-chief of The Cornell Daily Sun, helped bring renewed attention to an alleged 2024 r*pe at Cornell’s Chi Phi fraternity. Reporter Cereese Qusba spent nearly two years investigating the case, including Cornell’s handling of the allegations.

After the woman filed a civil lawsuit naming seven Cornell students, the Sun published its investigation. Cornell says its Title IX process resulted in suspensions and expulsions, while the criminal investigation has since been reopened. The reporting has raised renewed questions about how Cornell handled the case.

US country singer Zach Bryan wore a “Free Palestine” shirt during his concert at Gillette Stadium, the home of the New England Patriots and a venue owned by Robert Kraft. The appearance came weeks after Kraft barred Macklemore from performing at the stadium following the rapper’s pro-Palestinian remarks.

Bryan’s drummer, Nate Head, also wore a Palestine football jersey bearing the name Hind Rajab and the number 5, honouring the five-year-old Palestinian girl who was killed in Gaza in January 2024. Guitarist Noah Le Gros also wore a Palestine jersey.

Isr*el killed a Palestinian Christian mother and her daughter in Gaza.

Maysaa Khader Abu Daoud and her daughter Mary were among Palestinians killed in an airstrike on a residential building in Gaza City’s Rimal neighbourhood on 3 October.

The mother and daughter were Palestinian Christians who had been helping displaced families sheltering at the Holy Family Church in Gaza. Their deaths were mourned by Gaza’s Christian community at Saint Porphyrius Church.

Their deaths come as attacks continue across Gaza despite the ceasefire that began in October 2025. More than 1,400 Palestinians have been killed by Isr*eli fire since the so-called ‘ceasefire’.

Jolie cited UN analysis showing that 82% of Gaza’s structures had been damaged, with around two-thirds destroyed. She also called for urgent humanitarian aid, shelter and medical supplies for Palestinians.

“What it cannot show is what it means to live among it.”
