A group of United Nations experts urges the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) and Europe’s soccer association UEFA to suspend Israel over accusations it is committing genocide in Gaza.

“Sports must reject the perception that it is business as usual,” the eight independent UN experts say in a statement.

“National teams representing States that commit massive human rights violations can and should be suspended.”

The experts, who are mandated by the UN Human Rights Council but who do not speak on behalf of the United Nations, say suspending Israel was “a necessary response to address the ongoing genocide.”

Two years ago, on September 23rd, weeks before October 7th, Netanyahu presented a map at the United Nations with Palestine erased.

Narrated Shaddād ibn Aws رضي الله عنه: The Prophet (ﷺ) said "The most superior way of asking for forgiveness from Allāh is:

اللهم أنت ربي، لا إله إلا أنت ، خلقتني وأنا عبدك، وأنا على عهدك ووعدك ما استطعت أعوذ بك من شر ما صنعت أبوء لك بنعمتك علي، وأبوء بذنبي، فاغفر لي فإنه لا يغفر الذنوب إلا أنت

The Prophet (ﷺ) added. "If somebody recites it during the day with firm faith in it, and dies on the same day before the evening, he will be from the people of Paradise; and if somebody recites it at night with firm faith in it, and dies before the morning, he will be from the people of Paradise."

Transliteration: Allāhumma anta rabbī, lā ilāha illā ant, khalaqtanī wa-anā ʿabduk, wa-anā ʿalā ʿahdika wa-waʿdika mā’istaṭaʿt, aʿūdhu bika min sharri mā ṣanaʿt, abūʾu laka bi-niʿmatika ʿalayy, wa-abūʾu laka bidhanbī, fa’ighfir lī, fa-innahu lā yaghfir al-dhunūba illā ant

Translation: O Allāh, You are my Lord, there is no God but You. You created me and I am Your servant, and I abide by Your covenant and promise (to honour it) as best as I can. I seek refuge in You from the evil that I have committed. I acknowledge Your favor upon me, and I acknowledge my sin, so forgive me, for surely none can forgive sins but You.

Italy and Spain have sent naval vessels to support an international aid flotilla that came under drone attack while attempting to deliver humanitarian supplies to Gaza, a development that risks escalating tensions with Israel, which opposes the operation.

The Global Sumud Flotilla (GSF), made up of about 50 civilian boats, is attempting to breach the Israel occupation’s naval blockade. On board are lawyers, parliamentarians and activists.

Abū Ayyūb al-Anṣārī رضي الله عنه reported that Allāh's Messenger ﷺ said:

If you were not to commit sins, Allah would have swept you out of existence and would have replaced you by another people who have committed sin, and then asked forgiveness from Allah, and He would have granted them pardon.

🚨🇵🇸 Starbucks has announced plans to close hundreds of its coffee shops in the US and across Europe, including its flagship store inside the company’s Seattle headquarters. Alongside the closures, nearly 900 corporate employees will be laid off this week as the coffee giant struggles to respond to a steep decline in sales.

The company expects to take a $1 billion hit from the restructuring, which covers severance packages for laid-off staff and the costs of breaking store leases.

While Starbucks frames the move as part of a broader turnaround strategy, sales have plummeted in recent months, fueled by growing calls to boycott the chain in solidarity with Gaza and Palestine. Activists and consumers across multiple regions have accused the brand of complicity in the ongoing crisis, leading to mounting financial pressure.

Donald Trump has declared he will block any Israeli move to annex the occupied West Bank, despite growing calls from far-right figures in Israel pushing for sovereignty over the territory. Such a move would effectively end the possibility of a future Palestinian state.

Speaking in the Oval Office, Trump was unequivocal: “I will not allow Israel to annex the West Bank. Nope, I will not allow it. It’s not going to happen. There’s been enough. It’s time to stop now.”

The statement comes after lobbying from allies, with British officials reportedly concerned Trump might support annexation as retaliation for the UK, France, Australia and others recognising Palestine.

Microsoft has cut off some services to a unit of Israel's Ministry of Defence after an investigation found its technology had been used to conduct mass surveillance on people in Gaza.

Brad Smith, president of the company, said using the firm's technology to conduct mass surveillance on civilians was a violation of its standard terms of service.

Mr Smith said the decision, which was prompted by an investigation published by The Guardian, would not affect other work the company does with Israel.

Narrated by Ubādah ibn aṣ-Ṣāmit رضي الله عنه that the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said:

“Whoever gets up at night and says: 'Lā ilāha illAllāhu, waḥdahu lā sharīka lahu, lahul-mulku wa lahul-ḥamdu, wa huwa ʿalā kulli shaiʾin qadīr. Alḥamdulillāhi wa-SubḥānAllāhi wa-Lā ʾilāha ʾillā llāhu w-Allāhu Akbar wa-Lā ḥawla wa-lā quwwata ʾillā bi-llāh.'

لا إله إلا الله وحده لا شريك له، له الملك وله الحمد وهو على كل شيء قدير
الحمد لله وسبحان الله ولا اله الا الله والله اكبر ولا حول ولاقوة إلا بالله

(None has the right to be worshipped but Allāh. He is the Only One and has no partners. For Him is the Kingdom and all the praises are due for Him. He is Omnipotent. Praise be to Allāh and Glory be to Allāh, and There is no God but Allāh, and Allāh is Greatest And there is neither Might nor Power Except with Allāh).

And then says: Allāhumma-ġfirlī
اللهم اغفر لي
(O Allāh! Forgive me).

Or invokes (Allāh), he will be responded to, and if he performs ablution (and prays), his prayer will be accepted."

Over 150,000 people in Berlin, Germany took to the street to protest against the genocide in Gaza by the occupation forces.

The German government is one of the biggest arms dealers to the occupation forces, and has publicly denied a genocide is taking place.

Germany, which has supplied nearly 30% of Israel’s arms, making it the second largest supplier after the United States, has consistently denied that a genocide is taking place in Gaza.

Last month, Berlin announced a pause in weapons sales to Israel following Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s plans to take over Gaza.

In Germany, publicly accusing Israel of committing genocide is a criminal offense that can lead to arrest, even when the accusers are Jewish or Israeli themselves.

On this day, 30th September 2000, Israeli occupying forces shot dead 12 year-old Palestinian child, Muḥammad al-Durrah in the Gaza Strip.

The iconic video captured by Talal Abu Rahma showed Muḥammad al-Durrah being protected by his father, Jamal, behind a concrete cylinder as they were caught in crossfire between Palestinian security forces and the Israeli military occupation.

Muḥammad was killed in the arms of his father after being wounded by gunfire, his father received multiple gunshot wounds however, he managed to survive.
